Next Match: at home to Bayern Munich, May 10 Duisburg will be able to welcome defender Adam Bodzek back into its side for the final game of the season after his appeal against a four-match ban was reduced on appeal. The 22-year-old was set to miss the rest of the season when the German Football Association (DFB) banned him for four games following a red card he picked up against Bochum recently, but after reviewing the incident on request from the Bundesliga strugglers, the DFB agreed the act of violent conduct was not as serious as initially thought. Bochum's Anther Yahia, who Bodzek struck, helped get his opponent of the hook with his statement to the DFB, meaning Bodzek can now return to help the Zebras in what could be their last game in the Bundesliga against Frankfurt. |
