While Aachen plummet towards the second division on the back of six straight defeats, it appears Jan Schlaudraff and Sascha Dum have played their last games for the club. Both were dropped a week ago for disturbing the atmosphere in the dressing room, and neither will be back against Wolfsburg on Saturday. The board have given coach Michael Frontzeck and his players a vote of confidence. "We are certain that the team which has played in recent games will be able to stay up and we back the management team's decision," said a club statement. Aachen need to win on Saturday to remain in with a chance of staying up. Defeat, or even a draw, would condemn them to relegation.
