Fantasy Basketball Deep League Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 11

In deeper fantasy basketball leagues, finding useful players on the waiver wire can be a very difficult task. With most popular free agent choices already owned, owners of deeper leagues often have to dig at even less popular names for fantasy production. Here's a look at five players owned in less than 10% of Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Basketball leagues* who are worth adding in Week 11.

SG/SF Ronnie Brewer, Chicago Bulls (7% owned*)

Statistics (per game averages*): 26:10 MPG, .439 FG%, .600 FT%, 0.4 3PTM, 7.7 PTS, 3.3 REB, 2.0 AST, 1.1 ST, 0.4 BLK, 1.0 TO

An occasional starter this season, Brewer's fantasy value in the past used to primarily rely on his steals and his occasional decent scoring games. Over the Bulls' last seven games, Brewer has expanded his role in the 25 minutes a game he receives by putting up 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.0 steals per game. With Richard Hamilton still dealing with shoulder pain, Brewer is a great addition to any fantasy team.

PF Kenyon Martin, Los Angeles Clippers (6% owned)

Statistics: 22:30 MPG, .452 FG%, .438 FT%, 0.0 3PTM, 5.9 PTS, 4.4 REB, 0.5 AST, 0.9 ST, 0.9 BLK, 0.9 TO

After signing with the Clippers in February, Martin was quickly thrust into a prominent role off the bench for the Clippers. Surpassing the likes of Reggie Evans, Ryan Gomes, and Brian Cook for minutes, Martin's stats for points, rebounds, steals, and blocks can be serviceable in many deep leagues.

PF/C Ian Mahinmi, Dallas Mavericks (4% owned)

Statistics: 17:45 MPG, .562 FG%, .625 FT%, 0.0 3PTM, 6.1 PTS, 4.6 REB, 0.2 AST, 0.5 ST, 0.5 BLK, 0.8 TO

With Brendan Haywood injured for the time being, Mahinmi is receiving a chance to play more and contribute for the Mavericks. In the team's last two games where Haywood played little or no minutes, Mahinmi has averaged 11 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks a game.

PF/C Shelden Williams, New Jersey Nets (4% owned)

Statistics: 21:09 MPG, .419 FG%, .694 FT%, 0.0 3PTM, 4.5 PTS, 6.1 REB, 0.6 AST, 0.9 ST, 0.8 BLK, 1.0 TO

When Brook Lopez made his long-awaited debut for the Nets this season, Williams' value took a big hit. However, now that Lopez is back on the injury list with a sprained ankle, Williams is back in the Nets starting lineup and had averaged modest but consistent numbers that give him value in deeper leagues.

SG/SF Francisco Garcia, Sacramento Kings (3% owned)

Statistics: 16:00 MPG, .376 FG%, .769 FT%, 0.9 3PTM, 5.0 PTS, 2.0 REB, 0.6 AST, 0.7 ST, 0.7 BLK, 0.6 TO

While the biggest problem with Garcia this season is the fluctuating amount of minutes he receives, Garcia has proven to be a solid scorer when given playing time. In the 10 games where he has played more than 20 minutes, Garcia is averaging 11.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks a game.

*Percentage owned numbers for Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Basketball leagues and player statistics accurate as of Mar. 6, 2012. MPG: Minutes Per Game, FG%: Field Goal Percentage, FT%: Free Throw Percentage, 3PTM: 3-Pointers Made, PTS: Points, REB: Rebounds, AST: Assists, ST: Steals, BLK: Blocks, TO: Turnovers.
