Big(ger) Board: Basketball

The Big(ger) Board takes into consideration past returns, current performance and expected future gains in determining who should be included among the top 100 fantasy basketball players. Essentially, the Big(ger) Board is a cheat sheet designed for a fantasy owner who is planning to participate in a draft today. Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Basketball default scoring settings are used as the baseline for the Big(ger) Board, which is updated on a regular basis.
Note: It’s been a while since my previous update and, knowing how football obligations go, I can’t say for sure if I’ll get another update out the door before the start of the NBA regular season. That being the case, I spent a lot of time working on this latest update. I’ve been involved in two fantasy hoops drafts in recent weeks, and I’ve listed the results next to each player – Y! Friends and Family League was a nine-category default roto draft and the RotoWire league was an eight-category roto draft (no turnovers). In addition, I’ve included ADP results from an aggregate of 11 expert leagues that colleague Matt Buser has either been involved with or has followed because of the reputable participants in the league. Finally, please understand that this list is a ranking for nine-category rotisserie leagues, not head-to-head.
