Big Board: Basketball

Big Boards: Football | Baseball | Basketball | Hockey

The Big Board takes into consideration past returns, current performance and expected future gains in determining who should be included among the top 50 fantasy basketball players. Essentially, the Big Board is a cheat sheet designed for a fantasy owner who is planning to participate in a draft today. Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Basketball default scoring settings are used as the baseline for the Big Board, which is updated on a regular basis.

WOW.. i haven't read much of Funston's work but u cats r hard on the man.i am not crazy about the idea of a top 50 anyways....in a 12 person league-u might get 3 or 4 of those players-every1 knows u need more than that...i have a solid core of 8 players for most of the season and now at week 17 looks like no more moves unless it has 2 be done.our league dont trade much(to scared)i quess.Funston-stick up 4 yourself!!!

this is wat they should do, have 2 guys to do the big board instead of just funston. have buser do the big board, then have funston do absolutely nothing. it would work great, trust me.

If all of you "fire Funston" posters know so much about fantasy hoops, why are you even checking the Big Board? You all know which players you like and dislike before coming here. Use this board as a means to see which players you've been overlooking. These comments are ridiculous. Grow up.

Now for my plug... Kenyon Martin is producing top notch rebounds and solid blocks and steals. He's only owned in 74% of Yahoo! leagues. Everyone in a H2H league should run out and grab him.... fast!

You HAVE to have howard and aaron brooks in the top 50. Look i know his (Howard) ft percentage is always going to hurt you but he helps you but he gives you 7 other categories 7!!!!! There's not another player on the board or in the league that doesn't have at least one problem category. heck even Lebron hurts you in T.O but you would b fired! If you left the king out. Stop hating on Howard and freaking go look at the numbers....jesus it's really not a hard job to do...lol

I used his bigboard to draft my team. Last place! Calderon and Shawn Marion were way to high!! Why did I listen to this Board? It hasn't been accurate in years!

    B.F. F.

    B. Funston.........Forever?

I'ld love to support this little diddy of an article but it's too damn long between intervals. Since the last article you wrote I've lost my hair, seen a space shuttle landing on the moon, cheered at the resolve of the Noriega impasse, and eaten one hundred and forty bushels of apples. Matt Buser has worked absurdly diligently and produced an article every second day or so...tap, tap, tapping, on his keyboard. Buser has earned his opportunity...do the right thing Funston and let this franchise move forwards without complication. I'm sure that there's a government job for you out there that will allow a six hour work week.

How about a football update... Isn't that your "main sport" that you self-reported "caused you to neglect the other sports." You haven't updated that since November! Thanks for being there during our playoff runs. The board that is still there doesn't even have Jamal Charles listed... WHAT A JOKE!!!
