Contact%
The percentage of at bats during which the hitter makes contact with the ball. The league average in 2007 was 80.8%.
BABIP
Batting average of balls in play; the percentage of batted balls that result in a hit, excluding home runs (as they don't fall in the field of play). The league average in 2007 was .306.
HR rate
The average number of at bats between each home run for the hitter. The league average in 2007 was 33.85.
BB rate
The average number of at bats between each base on balls for the hitter. The league average in 2007 was 10.43.
K rate
The average number of at bats between each strikeout for the hitter. The league average in 2007 was 5.21.
BB/K
The average number of base on balls between each strikeout for the hitter. The league average in 2007 was 0.5.
FB%
The percentage of the hitter's batted balls that are fly balls. The league average in 2007 was 36.0%.
GB%
The percentage of the hitter's batted balls that are ground balls. The league average in 2007 was 43.7%.
LD%
The percentage of the hitter's batted balls that are line drives. The league average in 2007 was 20.3%.

The onbase percentage that opposing hitters compile versus the pitcher. The league average in 2007 was .336.

The slugging percentage that opposing hitters compile against the pitcher. The league average in 2007 was .423.

The number of walks that a pitcher issues per nine innings pitched. The league average in 2007 was 3.33.
K/9
The number of strikeouts that a pitcher accumulates per nine innings pitched. The league average in 2007 was 6.67.
K/BB
The number of base on balls that a pitcher issues per strikeout accumulated. The league average in 2007 was 2.00.

Games finished; a pitcher is credited with a game finished if he is the last pitcher to pitch for his team, excluding a starting pitcher who pitches a complete game.
SVOP
The number of save opportunities compiled by the pitcher; the conditions required for a pitcher to be credited with a save opportunity can be found here.
HLD
The number of holds compiled by the pitcher; a pitcher is credited with a hold any time he enters a game in a save situation, records at least one out and leaves the game never having relinquished the lead.
QS
