Commissioner Corner Message Board
There are still openings in the league. Since I need 6 new managers this season, we might not be ready to play in Week 1 but we should still be able to play 20 weeks or so. Please contact me if interested.
Hey fellow commishes!
This is the second year in which I am attempting to establish a keeper league.
The previous season was a daily points league, but in all fairness, we're switching to the normal, weekly H2H format for better competition. There were many inactive managers towards the end of last season, and some who had thrown in the towel way to early. The result- some who say a complete redraft is in order, many who say keepers OR redraft is okay by them, and some who state they will relinquish their position if we must redraft again.
How to appease everyone? I know it's not easy. There are still 3-4 teams who haven't (and i don't think will) renew, so it's either finding managers willing to take reigns on a previous team, have a new team draft (getting first picks at the leftover players,) or moving forward with less teams within the league.
The goal would have been to keep 5-6 players from last year, and then redraft the rest. Would a good compromise be to keep perhaps only their 2-3 best, and move forward?
What would you do?
That is a option you will have to choose from next year I believe. When you're are selecting you're draft date and type and assuring teams are what they should be you will choose to select carry forward last years draft trades. Keep in mind if you are keeping players, and doing a rookie draft to select place keepers at end of draft so that you're first picks in the draft will be the new picks and you're keepers will automatically be add after.
I need managers to join a 20 team max H2H League where teams are named after WHA teams. Draft is autopick and will be set once the league is full.
Thanks for the insight!
What about draft pick trades?
Like, obviously this year I want GM's to be able to trade their picks for next years draft?
Hey need an active manager for a 4th year 16 team H2H dynasty league. You get to keep 14 players from the main roster and 8 prospects. Please be active is all I ask.
1. Matt Dumba
2. Oscar Dansk
3. Mark Stone
4. Cody Ceci
5. Max Domi
6. Curtis Lazar
Looking for 2 replacement managers for a simple H2H points league (goals, assists, wins, and shutouts). Sign-up, contact me through here or League ID: 16973. This is our fifth year, and we have yet to have the same winner twice! Draft is tentatively set for Sep 25 at 10:15pm ET.
Couple of things to try......go to one of your team pages and click on your profile name(the one next to your team logo)...click your name and you should get a listing of all your teams since you have been playing on that account. ANOTHER thing, were you in another one of your yahoo accounts when you took the team over. Most times one account can not own 2 teams in the same league. Look in your other yahoo fantasy email addresses....you can also try going to the add player list from the league listing ADD/DROP when you get to the FA page...instead of listing ALL AVAILABLE PLAYERS..........highlight and click ALL TAKEN PLAYERS...you should see all the teams in that league...............one of these should work...Good Luck !
Its a big (20 team) H2H League. You keep 6 players (you can only keep 1 goalie). I only have 1 spot let. Team includes Pacioretty & M Fleury. You also would get the 5th pick in the draft. I can send u more info i u wanta give me ur e mail
