i finished 3rd in my league yahoo public 88796, and i have yet to be contacted by yahoo that i won...what should i do?

  • for Houston and Washington franchise

We play in basketball, baseball, hockey, and football. ONLY JOIN IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in ALL 4 sports. You are taking over for the owner in all 4 sports.

It is a full keeper where we keep all our players year-to-year. Have a website where I have all the rules posted.

We have a minor league farm system in hockey and baseball, a Commish IA list where you can designate 1 player to use as an injury list or to stash a prospect (or any player you want for that matter). All leagues have a rookie draft.

Some things that are different than normal yahoo leagues, Baseball uses holds, football, individual D with deep D roster and they get pts on par with offensive players, basketball uses a H2H points system, and hockey has a lot of peripheral stats like SOG, Hits, Faceoff wins, etc.

Contact at chisox214 yahoo I will send you rosters to if interested.

  • Kind of a minor issue. I'm going back and looking over stats for players to do a fun wrap up for our league. However players who are currently in the playoffs only have their playoff stats showing up if you try to look at their season long stats.

    payouts

    by ZSR Apr 15, 2014 5:01 PM

    Yahoo Help article SLN6764:

How and when winners are paid in Pro Leagues

Payouts are made exclusively through PayPal.

If you're one of the top three finishers and you've never been paid before, you'll receive an email notification of your payout at the primary email address in your Yahoo Profile.

Check your information before payouts process! If your profile's email address doesn't match your PayPal account, update your profile with the correct address.

Just click the link provided in the email to connect your primary email address to your existing (or new) PayPal account and claim your hard-earned prize.

If you've been paid out before, we'll transfer your winnings to your existing PayPal payout account. Watch for the confirmation from PayPal to let you know the transfer is complete!

Need to change your PayPal account? Learn how to update where your payout will be sent using our help article about updating your payout account.

    When you'll be paid

We know you're in a hurry to collect your winnings, so payouts will be processed within 3-4 weeks of the completion of the sport's regular season (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL).

Once the window for applying stat corrections has passed, you'll see a note at the bottom of your matchup page stating when stat corrections will be applied and your championship will be considered to be completed.

    Dynasty League Replacement Managers

Hi Mark. By the way, nice settings. I don't tend to like hits, faceoffs won and other useless categories. Thanks.

    Max Games

    by Matt Apr 14, 2014 1:44 PM

See Yahoo Help topic /SLN6784, Position Maximums in Fantasy Hockey. A portion of that article appears below:

Once the maximum is reached for a position in games, stats will no longer accrue for that position. However, managers will receive credit for all stats earned at a position on the date that the cap is reached.

Example: If you allow a maximum of 82 games per position and have three center spots on your roster, you have a total of 246 combined center games. But, if you've used 245 of them and still have three centers active, you can receive stats for all three players on the same day before being capped.

    Keeper League Picks??

    by Grant L Apr 13, 2014 12:02 AM

Iginla wouldn't be a keeper for me either. I'd still keep Z, even the injuries this year, his value and play hasn't fallen completely off the map. Plus, with 121 players off the board when drafting, might not be too many available, if any at all I'd draft over him. I'd definitely keep Smith over Howard, if I was only keeping one goalie. Depending on goalie settings, I'd most likely go with both, and drop Drouin. With 12 teams, 11 keepers, I wouldn't take too much of a risk on someone who may or may not even crackthe lineup next year.

  • A player in my hockey league had 3 games left before maxing out. One the final day of the season, they started 6 people, and the six of them accumulated 5.5 points between the 6 of them. They were credited for the entire 5.5 points, when they should have only had 3 games left. How does this work, when does yahoo post a correction?

    Preparing for next season

    by Mark Apr 14, 2014 10:25 AM

At the start of next year's fantasy hockey season.

I've been running a keeper league for 5 years now, and that is when it opens things up and allows trades, etc.

You can always keep track of it yourself if guys want to make trades, but you won't have a league page to do it on until next fall.

  • 1st year commissioner:
When does Yahoo allow me to go in a set the Keeper settings for next year? Our guys want to be able to make trades etc in the off season, but I'd like to get the keepers set etc. and I don't know when I'll be able to.
Anyone know when it usually allows you to do that?

    Keepers

    by Brayden Apr 13, 2014 9:13 PM

You will have to wait until next season to actually assign keepers. Once hockey starts up again, there will be the option to invite your managers back from this year and use the keeper tools to let the teams select their keepers. Once they have selected their keepers you can go from there setting up your draft order etc. hope this helps.

    Keeper League Picks??

    by Grant L Apr 13, 2014 12:02 AM

Iginla wouldn't be a keeper for me. The other one to drop would be between Howard and Z. Both have had injuries this season. But with 12 teams keeping 11 players each, I am not sure of what might be left of goalies come draft time. You have some very solid young players. Like Jesse said, it would be nice if Burns keeps his D eligibility for next tear too.

  • Is there anyone I can email to have a stat correction looked into? During the Ottawa Pittsburgh game today the wrong player was given 2 shots on goal. Near the end of overtime Erik Karlsson got a shot on goal then rebounded his shot and took another. Those were recorded as Mike Hoffman's SOG and I'd like to make sure those get fixed. It may seem minor but its actually a big deal to me.
