Commissioner Corner Message Board
Wrong - he has started 5 games at C. Check his player profile. On top of that, I have personally counted down the games where he starts at C. Yesterday was his 5th and should be given eligibility some time today.
I need to replace a manager in 2 of my leagues. These leagues are 10 team head to head. Both are in the 5th or 6th year. The teams aren't bad cause rosters aren't real deep but this manager is horrible at fantasy baseball. This may be a bit of a project but both teams do have a chance at making the playoffs still. I need a manager who comes back every single year and is very active all season long. I am the commish of keeper leagues in all sports...very experienced. Ideally i'd like someone to take over both of these teams since they are in different leagues. If you want these teams please let me know your email and i'll send the invite. We will do probably around 6 keepers next season.
Yahoo fantasy system is always and I mean always LATE making the changes or adjustments. Here we are Gattis has 5 starts at catcher and the eligibility chart says he needs 5 more starts. Now we know this is an error and we know yahoo will change it maybe today I don't know. Its just the pain of trying to set a roster and you I have to check in later.

6th yr ROTO keeper league transitioning to a dynasty league as of this season. We have one manager who just can't be active enough (either unable to due to other commitments or simply doesn't want to be) and he must be replaced. He's currently in 9th place but still has a small chance at making a title run this year and has some young ELITE franchise players. The rest of our managers are very active. I want another active manager who will continue to improve this team whichever way (free agency, waiver wire, trades) they can. If you get a trade offer, gives some feedback whether positive or negative and make a counteroffer if need be... I don't think that is asking for too much. Managers are treated like adults in this league, so if two owners agree to trades, short of proven collusion, then the deals will be approved. If you live and die with what happens in fantasy baseball then this may not be the right league for you, we all love playing it but at the end of the day this is still just a game. NO DRAMA!
Settings are as follows:
Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL, DL, DL, DL, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Hits (H), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), On-base Percentage (OBP)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Quality Starts (QS)
If you'd like an invite to manage the team or have any questions about the league, please email section8dude AT rocketmail.
I am an active owner seeing a league with a salary cap with contracts and FA auction bidding. I would like the league to have well established rules (constitution). I would also like the league to have prospect rosters and the ability to trade future prospect draft picks. I would prefer the league to be free.

Had the same thing happen in my league. As commissioner, I grabbed Urias and will release him onto waivers so he can go through appropriate waiver claims. I asked the league to hold off on picking up the player I dropped for him so I can add him back to my roster. Only thing I thought was sensible.
I'm an H2H guy exclusively. I like going mano on mano versus another team every week.
I can't stand roto, even though roto was the father of fantasy baseball.
I can't stand weekly leagues either, or liver.
roto has a large, loyal following. That was the format in the beginning and still has many who prefer that format. That said,my personal preference is H2H,and here's why. A end-of-season playoff generates additional interest, as do divisions...neither are present in the roto game.Managers/owners are usually within a division title range and don't lose interest in the team or season. Roto, you get to July, the lower-tier teams seem to think there aren't enough points generated to make the top-3.They lose interest, become inactive. Then it usually makes for artificial results from that point on.

Yahoo! only does trade reviews in Pro leagues.
Private leagues can be commish review or league review.
Public leagues are league review only.
