Yahoo steadfastly stays out of disputes. About the best you can do is start a new league and invite the honest owners in. Sorry that's not more helpful.
I caught the commissiner of my league dropping players from another team and instantly picking them up for himself. I called him out on it as well as another GM and he now has moved our whole team to the bench and locked us out. Can yahoo step in ? what can be done?
Has anyone thought that maybe 1 team needed a closer and the other team needed a bat?
When players are called up that are not in the player pool, they get added overnight after they are officially called up.
Difo is in the pool today. Most leagues will have him on waivers.
So it's Jones for two closers. Maybe Samardjzia turns it around, maybe not. What's the big deal? There's never been a fair trade in the history of baseball. The O's got Jones and Tillman for Eric Bedard. Now that was a lopsided trade. Why didn't anybody else try to get Jones? Was their collusion? Trade wars happen.
If it's "league votes", let it stand, you really have no choice if you want to hold the league together. If you over-ride it, you will have a mutiny. . If it's "Commish Approval". Kill the trade, then change the league to "league votes", explain your position to the league and vote again and wash your hands of it.
Personally, I don't veto trades because everybody had an equal chance to trade for that player but only one manager was smart enough to do it. Why should he be punished for being the smartest manager in the league?
Standard 5x5, Head to head. Two divisions. Division leaders and next 4 best teams go to the playoffs. One manager has to drop his team. 6 keepers, 5 roster moves per week. League votes on trades. This is a first year league. It's a decent team with DL issues, needs some clean-up. The team is 24-33-3 and in 13th place but the Mgr hasn't been active in 5 weeks. Please, active managers (adults only) either post your email here or shoot me an email at neilsummers at comcast dot net..

I'd love this team. I'm veteran, active daily, competitive, and a good league citizen. I'm at wideopenbaseball at yahoo. Thanks; look forward to hearing from you!
The two trades are awful. Adam Jones is a first round value that offers across the board stats...from power, to speed, to average. The biggest issue here is that a batter plays 5-6 games a week. Each of those games they are able to contribute stats to your fantasy squad. A pitcher gets 1 (or two TOPS) starts a week. A relief pitcher can offer even less. So, the first trade makes no sense because as dominant as Chapman can be, he doesn't offer the same day-to-day value as Jones. The second trade is even worse...two RPs for an elite everyday batter in Jones and a starting SP in Shark? No way, man. Your league is crazy to think those are fair trades.
Looking for advice. My league is starting a war over an Adam Jones for Adrolis Chapman trade. The better team getting Jones. The stance is that Chapman can never potentially reach the relevance of Jones because of his relief pitch role and he is a 2 stat pony. 600ABs vs 70 innings pitched. After it was vetoed there is now a trade for:
Andrew Miller Closer NY
Luke Gregorson Closer HOU
What do you all think about the 2 trades?
This is a very active 12 team H2H keeper league. This team needs a new manager. It’s full of prospects and breakout candidates. We also have a NA slot and this team has Andrew Heaney in that spot. It’s a typical league setup with C,1,2,3,SS,OF,OF,OF, Util, Util, 6 SP and 2 RP. If interested post your email address
DL - Jake Lamb
DL- Patrick Corbin
DL- Matt Moore
NA- Andrew Heaney
