Commissioner Corner Message Board
Just going to post the team for the other hockey league I run. Make sure you're not already in the league "When the puck drops" as that is the league in which I want to fill a vacancy. You keep 8 from this list, and the scoring is done by H2H matchups: points. I can give a list of full settings on request.
Here is the team:
Bozak, Brown Duchene, Kopitar, Nino Nedereiter, Ryan O'reilly, Pietrangelo, B Campbell, Faulk, Jagr, J Schultz, J Skinner, Steen, Wiesniewski
Goalies: Jake Allen, Varlamov, Eddie Lack.
Please contact m/e/r/o/n/b/o/s/i/a/k at this site removing "/" for inquiries or interest in the team

Too late now I guess, but I'd go with Garcia, Kazmir, Lester, Fiers and Quintana. Lewis borderline and I would bench/drop Colon and Peavey.

1) yes, you can keep DL and/or NA players and no, you don't have to activate them before the season ends
2) correct, any player that you keep will be placed in an active spot, even if the active spot is on the bench. If the keeper in question still retains DL/NA status you will need to wait until after the draft to move them into a DL or NA spot.
I need a replacement manager for a team in my first-year Rotisserie keeper league. The league is a typical 5x5 format. You will be able to keep 10 players (no restriction on position) for next year, and they will come off the bottom of the draft. Please be a committed and active manager.

The team you would be taking over has decent hitting, but pitching needs some work. The players are as follows:

Mike Fiers (I understand is late success has been due to reworked mechanics), Colon has been pretty good over last 30 days and is playing with a motivated upgraded offensive team against the sub-500 Marlins. Kaz vs Seattle would be next but I think SEA is more dangerous than MIA. I don't like the games against power house KC and the hitting D-backs. NG on P AT Coors!. The Pirates are motivated to play hard. and LAA has those big bats . There's my best guess, good luck.
Need some help here Fantasy Baseball Freaks!!
First round of our play-off and I need to pick 5 SP's (starts tomorrow)
The team I’m playing will have 7 starts this week (my bad luck I only get 5)
K’s and IP are key to this 18 team pitching heavy scoring league
Any and all help would be much appreciated!

Scott Kazmir vs. SEA

Colby Lewis @ LAA

We are a 16-team league that has activity all year long, with rosters managed off-site and games played H2H using Yahoo. We have an amateur draft and full minor leagues on top of annual auctions of free agents.
We are super competitive, with 5 different champions and 9 different teams in the final game through 5 seasons. We are also one of the most active leagues you will find, with over 30 trades completed this August alone.
We are currently full up as we head into the playoffs, but our pre-season activities (contract extensions, prospect promotion and auction period) begin right away in Mid-October, and I'm looking for 2-3 committed, experienced owners to put on the wait list in case of sudden openings.

Don't know how you HEAR "sour".... take a closer look, maybe you'll notice the emoji.... Besides, if you've had the experience I've had with Yahoo, you, too, might be a little peeved. Nothing personal toward any of the peeps here, I just ain't too fond of Yahoo :) (
We had questions; 1) Comes Yahoo's 2016 start up can teams pick keepers from their current 2015 DL & NA, or does a team need to move DL or NA players it wants to keep to active roster spots before the end of Yahoo 's 2015 season?........2) Keepers from the DL or NA will take up active roster spots, it means the team is substituting the DL/NA keeper for an active batter, pitcher or benched player. There are no DL or NA keeper roster spots, team "over rostering" by holding players in DL or NA spots only happens "in season" but not for keepers right? Thanks for help on this.
