Commissioner Corner Message Board
I have 2 openings in 3 different leagues. They were to draft this coming Sat. but I have pushed them back so I can fill up the leagues. All Leagues are H2H, 10 team, 8 offense and 8 pitching catergories,30 man rosters, limited to 8 keepers from existing rosters, Live draft. Trades encouraged but not mandatory. E-,mail me @ jredsox67 at Yah or jredsox67 at aol
I myself am not a beginner, but i'm commish of a league where the majority are getting into fantasy baseball, and a few who are distant to baseball themselves but enjoy the competition involved (majority are familiar with fantasy leagues in general though)
Looking for the easiest set-up that will be easy to understand aswell as not scaring people off from updating their rosters mid-season.
First instinct is to go with H2H pts. That way some of the more novice guys can just go and see one stat (pts) on the free agent market and see who has the most. Rather than trying to get break down which stats they need for what position etc.
I've taken part in PTS leagues, but have never set one up myself so looking for advice to make sure it's balanced aswell as making it relatively simple.

I am looking for 2 replacements for a 20 team dynasty league with big rosters.
We have an auction draft each year with a $400 budget and players can be kept for the price that they were acquired in the previous years. Special rules are enforced for FA and waiver pickups.

Yoenis Cespedes 42
Chris Davis 10
Edwin Encarnancion 41
Jacoby Ellsbury 41
Dustin Pedroia 45
Kyle Seager 20
Alex Guerrero 14
Dustin Ackley 10
Hisashi Iwakuma 10
Lance Lynn 16
Paul Goldschmidt 38

Team #1 has a couple of studs, and team #2 has a boatload of prospects, which will make both of them easy to rebuild. Remember, this is a 20 team league, so these 2 teams are above average.
If you are interested in taking over one of these teams, please let me know your email.
Let's play ball!
A friend and I (both experienced) are trying to start a new league with weekly payouts (incentive to keep playing). We need another 10 owners to buy in at $50 (x 12 teams = $600)
weekly high score $10 x 22 weeks = $220
1st & 2nd place season get $200 & $100 = $300
1st & 2nd place playoff get $50 & $30 = $ 80
9x7 settings (R,1B,2B,3B,HR,RBI,K,OBP,NSB) x (W,K,HLD,ERA,WHIP,QS,NSV)
roster (26): C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, (3)OF, (2)UTIL - (2)SP, (2)RP, (4)P - (5)BN, DL, DL,NA

This is the fourth year of Hardcore Champions. Two managers have not returned, so I'm looking to fill their spots. This is a highly competitive league with the majority of teams having been there since the start. I'm looking for two managers that will be highly active. We've been keeping five players but that number will probably go up. The draft will be as close to the start of the season as possible. If interested, let me know here.
