Commissioner Corner Message Board
TBH I'm going to be cheering for SCHATZI's players more so than my own tonight. Will be drinking some for her as well. Here's to SCHATZI's championship dream coming true, and FUCK that punk az cheating SOB. Regardless what happens he's a chump and SCHATZI is a true winner going 12-1 and making it this far in such a deep league. Much respect for that alone and a lot of respect for you mike, for being kind enough to put this together. Like I said, you the real MVP. Will check back in on this matchup LETS GO SCHATZI!!!!
(read in Howard Cossel's voice)
It all comes down to MNF as it should. on one side of the field we have the darling of the message boards everyones favorite team dare I say it YES Americas team, "The SCHATZI" vs the team that I dont think their own mothers could love. I say, with a great deal of certainty that no one is rooting for "That Guy"
Heres how we stand, "That Guy" largely on the back of ODB has a 33.69 lead and The Schatzi has Sanders coming off not 1, not 2, but 3, unspectacular weeks, maybe hes due. lets hope so for her sake. The real glimmer of hope is Mr Anderson a man who has put up over 23 points in 3 of his last 4 games. If Schatzi is to have any chance at winning the 1st annual Commish's Corner League, Mr Anderson, CJ to his friends. would appear to be the player whose back Schatzi's Championships dream ride. Over to you Dandy Don
Let the Games begin
Deficit 33.69 Projected 26.75

im looking to create a league next year, but i wanted to get started early because i am searching for really good fantasy players. if you would like to apply for the league leave your email below please and i will respond and tell you if you have been excepted or not. Thanks!
New England, imo is one a those teams who makes weekly game plans and sticks to them more so than most teams. Like having no name J. Gray run down Indies throat then not using him much. Whatever it takes to win no matter who it takes to do it. It isn't always Brady. They're a tough team to rely on for fantasy any week.
the very reason I'd had a week 17 game. To keep everyone on their toes instead of picking a draft and riding it. Makes waivers important and all the no shows irrelevant
Antonio should have been the 1st WR taken both this year and the previous year.
I hope people still haven't learned.
Just an FYI, I avoid week 17 like the plague. Too many guys will be sat at the last minute in the late games on Sunday. It turns into a guessing game on who will play and how hard the effort will be.
Chris is right, you only get the pt's if you are in an IDP league. I'm in one and Cody Parkey, Eagles Kicker, has gotten me two points this year for tackles on kick offs.
I have him in one league, thankfully, and my opponent has Luck, so I'll end up winning 120+ to 49 as I still have CJ runnin for me tonight! Got lucky cause I have Brees at qb and he didn't do so good for me this week. One thing is for sure, ODB is THE REAL DEAL! I think he will be the 3rd WR taken next year behind Megatron and Antonio.
If a field goal is touched by the defense, but goes beyond the line of scrimmage, it is also counted as a blocked kick. It is in the link you sent. TO sum up, if it is a punt and passes line of scrimmage but was touched, no blocked punt. If it is a Fg and is touched, it is a block as long as it isn't good. The Fg part is pretty straight forward. This will be stat corrected I'm sure.
Did anyone actually read the link included? It isn't a blocked punt if it goes past the line of scrimmage, but it clearly states "If a field goal is touched by the defense, but goes beyond the line of scrimmage, it is also counted as a blocked kick."
As it stands right now... the only team with nothing left to play for is New England
Baseball is much different than football.
If your league is set up with individual defensive players, then ALL players get credit for defensive stats
Some leagues are set up that way. Like if Graham makes a tackle on a Brees INT, Graham will get a point for the tackle.
never heard of such a stat, qualifying for points on FF. Since the def didn't do the tackling, why would it count?
I once had a pitcher hit a homerun with out the hr stat counting. Kinda the same thing ain't it?
I like diversity so have been going with 17 week. Some teams are locked in and have no problems pulling their stars (Luck) but I also have 6 team playoff meaning 1/2 get 1st round byes (wk15) as do those in consolation (but who cares, right?) Week 16 decides final round for wk17. Meaning, possibly playing a 8-8 team qb vs a 12-4 qb.
On another note, Wishing I could get enough friends together who stick with the whole season, even to play spoiler.
None of the teams I played went off on me, I killed myself with Luck. Still have a chance tonight, but need the Den kicker to get 13 to win the title
