Who to Start Message Board
If your going to deal Trout you should get a better starting pitcher. he is worth Kershaw level value. Why not try and trade Upton for Lester and Betts if anything.

3B, you should be playing Mookie at 2B where his value is maxed, Back end SP, not a fan of Hahn or Garza at this point.

Davis is a 4th OF so I'd really be looking for help in the OF cause aint nobody got time for Beltran. Frazier had a career yr last year, at 29 I'll say he drops back to around 20 hrs rather than the 30 and if he steals more than 10 bases i'll eat my hat.
Semien is a good sleeper pick, he has the potential eventually to be a 20/20 guy just maybe not this year, but his minor lg track record points in that direction. Great for a keeper lg, one yr lg maybe not.
Personally I'd take a flier on ARod as he will be the DH in NY this year and is catching up to and turning on fastballs in ST. he will have 3b elig and can be swapped in and out at 3B and Util.
If he is available I'd quickly pick up Polonco from the Pirates for my OF young and full of talent and he will be given every chance to succeed in RF. Possible 20/20 guy this year maybe more will bat 2nd in front of McCutchen with solid OBP skills. Kid has superstar potential. Much better upside play than Davis or Beltran
Your pitching is not quite a train wreck, I like Ventura Pineda and Teheran. Lynn is solid. Anibel Sanchez and Paxton have red flags. I wouldnt trust paxton at all and his K's will be minimal. DeSclafani, I'd drop. C.C. I'd keep and see. I'd drop both Paxton and DeSclafani, pick up Drew Hutchison(Jays) 184 k's in 184 ip's in 2014 with upside
As for RP real boom or bust kinda guys so its risky
I plan on starting Marte in one of my utility slots. I will wait and see how fielder does before I go dropping him, but IMO it will effect him at least for April and maybe even into may.
Drop Upton, keep the rest. Its a keeper lg. Between Felix and Max your pitching is real good. Desmond is a top 5 SS and Springer is going to be a stud at least down the road. I mean come on CarGo, and Springer (20hr in 295 ab's as a rookie) nice start to the outfield SP Felix and Max nice start. Ian at SS dont know what more you would want. Upton is the odd man out in my book, he's way more unpredictable than anyone else.
Thanks! I get 5 keepers, so I guess you'd take Felix Hernandez, Carlos Gomez, Ian Desmond, Max Scherzer, and George Springer? Does make sense to choose leave off either Upton or Springer. I see more upside with Springer, but his BA, strikeout rate, and injury from last year (don't want to jinx him as being injury prone just yet) are worrying a tiny bit. I know Upton will be gone by my turn, as a couple teams will probably only have 3 or 4 keepers, and then I draft 8th (hoping K. Bryant will be available then, but highly doubt it)...
The White Sox last game in AZ is on Thursday, and they have a game in Charlotte their AAA team on Friday, so they might have the roster set by then, or Saturday.
Personally I would start Marte over Cespedes, or Upton. I think Cespedes is hyped up too much, and Upton will not for as much power in San Diego. Marte will hit 20 plus HRs and steal 25 bases. If what you say is true, then why would you want to pick up another OF in J.D. Martinez?
What could you possibility be basing your opinion of Fielder on? The guy had neck surgery, nothing that would affect his hitting. But you go and drop him and then watch while he hits 30 plus HR and has 100 plus RBIs. Do you do any research on your own at all?
I say Frazier, because of the following reasons. First off Pitchers get hurt often, they only affect your lineup at most 2 times a week. Where as hitters can have an impact on more days and more stat categories. If you were going to pick one of the two pitchers, then I would pick Cueto. Even if he regresses slightly, he has a proven track record, Harvey has a total of 36 starts in the majors. He a good young pitcher to be sure, but a keeper over Cueto. Not in my book. Plus Cueto is pitching for a contract, and players often do well the year before they walk.
So why did I pick Frazier over Marte? In a word Power. He has more than Marte and plays in a bandbox. Yes Marte is a good young player, but Frazier will hit more HRs, get more RBIs and maybe he won't steal 20 bases this year, but he steal into the double digits. Plus he plays both 3B and 1B, that gives you flexibility. You can find more Outfield help than you can power hitting 3B.
I think Desmond is a must keep. Where are you going to find a SS that puts up his numbers? I am not sold on Upton hitting in that park in San Diego, so that leaves it between Springer and Scherzer. I normally don't keep pitchers, but in a deep league like this, and with the choices you gave, I would go with Scherzer. There a better than average chance that you can redraft Springer, but if you don't keep Desmond and Scherzer odds are one or both will be gone before your turn comes around, depending of course on what pick you have.

I drop Beltran for sure, and I am not sure what you see Semien. I would pick up Morse. He is going to hit 4th in a good Marlins lineup. How many minimum innings do you have? In any case here are some other names to consider that may be on the wire: SS Alcides Escobar. He stole 30 bases and scored 75 Runs, with .300 OBP. Ben Revere with hit .300, have around .325 OBP, score around 75 runs, and steal 40 plus bases.
Another idea is considering picking up a RP like Wade Davis. Why you may ask would you want a RP that not a closer. I say because he will help you in K's ERA, Whip, and he steals Wins. Last year he was 9-2, had 109 K's 23 BB, and 0.85 WHIP. Plus I think it sucks to a P spot not doing you anything on most days. Just some Thoughts.
