Who to Start Message Board
big sleeper is Saunders in Toronto. probably has left field locked up and was decent in pitcher friendly Seattle 2 years ago. injured almost all of last year.
These are the players I drafted in my 12-team, H2H, non-keeper league. 6 offensive Cat (R,HR,RBI,SB, OBP, AVG); 6 pitching cats (W,L,ERA,WHIP,K,SV).
SP: Felix, Bum, Hamels, wacha, Lackey, Teheran, wood
RP: Vizcaino, Zeigler, Tolleso, Hernandez
What are positions I need to work on? Who are potential sleepers to add, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Looking for a couple more players. If interested, e-mail my Yahoo account - BIGL81255
H2H Auction League-----drafts Thursday, March 24 at 7:00 PM Central
AUCTION DRAFT-----You can own any player you want for the right price.
This league will have 16 teams, 2 divisions, and a $60 entry fee. It will be H2H scoring using the following 10 roto categories: R---HR---RBI---OBP---NSB---K---ERA---WHIP---QS---NSVH.
Teams will play 2 games against division rivals and 1 game against every other team. There will be 8 teams that make the playoffs with ties for playoff spots being broken by Yahoo. The top 3 in each division will receive $180-90-60 and the top 4 playoff finishers will receive $180-60-30-30.
This being an auction draft, it will probably last around 3.5 hours for most.
I have one keeper left to designate, and I was wondering who it should be. I am trying to choose between Tulo, Miguel Sano, and Kyle Schwarber. I am leaning more towards Schwarber because of the power potential from the catcher position, but Tulo has been one of the best SS the last few years. Of course Tulo is no longer in Colorado so I fear his power numbers will not be the same. The rest of my keepers are as follow: Trout, Stanton, Rizzo, K. Bryant, Dee Gordon, deGrom, and King Felix. The league itself is a Head to Head league consisting of 10 teams. The starting positions are consistent with a public league. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank You
Okay, in a head to head league, positions are not important, playing time and ability are.
Get as many high average power bats as you can, followed by high average speed guys.
Try to get guys who are batting 1-5 in their teams batting order, this creates the most opportunities. Most of all make sure your players play everyday. For pitchers you want good skills, high strikeout per innings pitched, and higher strikeout to walk ratios.
Do not chase wins and saves, get the pitchers with the best stuff, including bullpens.
High strikeouts, low walks, low home runs allowed, and the saves and wins will come.
Pay attention all season, and do not trade keepers unless the deal is too rich to pass up.
I am looking for replacement managers for a second year H2H dynasty league. Not surprisingly, all the teams are toward the bottom of the standings. The positions are standard with 7 bn, 5 na and 2 DL spots. Scoring settings are avg, r, hr, sb, rbi, w, k’s, era, whip, and s/hld. It is a league of 14. Here are the teams available, please leave your email if interested. For any questions feel free to email me at
