Who to Start Message Board
Vrbata. The guy is a stud. Perhaps the most under-appreciated player in fantasy hockey, I have no idea how a consistent 30 goal scorer is ranked something like 233, and you get guys who have done basically nothing to prove themselves ranked inside the top 100 (like Yakupov or Schultz).
I agree... I think Duchene is the better player (I'm a big fan of both, and think Little is really underrated), but go with the Little until Duchene snaps out of his slump.
Bryan Little just broke a goal drought and has been consistent all season.
Matt Duchene has been invisible (1 assist in the past 8 games) but could snap out of it against the Jets.
Who would you start?
Who should I pick for my last forward for tonight? 12/12.
Jaden Schwartz (StL) vs TOR. Schwartz has 1 point (1 goal) in his last 3 games. But has that 9 points (4 goals) in his last 10.
Radim Vrbata (Pho) vs NYI. Vrbata has 0 points in his last 3 games but has 10 points (3 goals) in his last 10.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Voracek picked up a goal last night. I'm still waiting for him to burst out. He is playing with giroux so it's a matter of time.
I picked up Nick Bonino Anh - C. I know I have too many centers but this guy is putting up some points. If it comes to a time where there is a conflict, I'll probably just drop him.
I also picked up Jaden Schwartz StL - C,LW.
Ya Voracek is garbage this year.
For the OP: You're good on C, decent on LW and weakest on RW. It looks like you're in a fairly deep league so have a look at what stats you're weak on every week. Scoring - might want to pick up Toffoli, who's scoring a lot despite limited minutes for LA, or Nichushkin, who's been on fire lately and is skating on Dallas' top line with Benn & Seguin. Some will argue for Nyquist, but I'm not sold on him yet. If you're weak on hits or PIM, picking up Rinaldo or Dorsett might help out a bit.
Niemi, no question. Sharks have been bad lately but they're still one of the best teams in the league, playing arguably the worst team in the league (I think NYI displaced the Oilers as worst team in the NHL in the latest power rankings).
it all depends what type of league your in, head to head or points or what? im in head to head now, so i keep up with all the players getting hot everyweek and drop and add constantly, right now bonino has put up points in his last 4 games if im not mistaken, definitely a hot player right now for anaheim, also ryan jahanson from columbus hot right now, shane doan was, until he got sick....briere could be a hit if he stays healthy, but id only grab bonino right now, and watch to make sure to drop him when his lil point streak ends
It was a tab error and i didn't correct it, it should have read "Of the three players Jagr, Eberle, and Iginla which two man start combination will produce the most fantasy value in their games tonight Tue. 10th?" Hopefully starting some discussion on the topic of "value"

I have Antti Niemi going against NYI who have lost their last 10.
Who should I start 2nd?
Scrivens (LA) against MTL
Raanta (CHI) against DAL (if Crawford is still hurt)
Niemi for sure against NYi who will have trouble with San Jose's fire power and I'd go with raanta against the division bottom dweller Dallas as even as bad as buffalo is the sens aren't playing consistent or we'll as of late
Assuming all 3 start tomorrow (I'm pretty sure they will) which 2 should I start, and why?
Niemi vs Islanders
Raanta vs Dallas
Robin Lehner vs Buffalo
Things I'm taking into consideration: The sharks have been slumping big time, but Islanders have been even worse , this could be the game they finally win. Chicago is by far the best team in the league. Lehner is playing one of the worst teams in the NHL. Let me know what you guy's think.
