Actually the worst rule in football is kicking PATs from the 15 yard line.
I miss the surprise option of a trick play 2 point conversion
So if I'm standing there with 2 feet on the ground and the ball hits me right in the hands (both hands) but bounces off and hits the ground, it's a catch because I had 2 feet down????
If you truly think Davis is valuable enough to land one of those WRs, then you may as well trade Gronk for an even better one
You should target zero of those players because there is zero percent chance of a trade being accepted
So, I've been in this league for four years now, it's a CBS league where QBs and DEFs offer HUGE returns (just this week Rodgers and KC DEF both netted me 25 points), non-ppr. I'm going to be 6-4 after this week, and I'd like some opinions on a trade I'm considering offering.
My team :
QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Todd Gurley
RB Lamar Miller
WR A.J. Green
WR Alshon Jeffrey
TE Charles Clay
FLEX : Julian Edelman
DEF : KC
K : week to week.
RB : James Starks, Jonathan Stewart, Carlos Hyde, Jay Ajayi
WR : Willie Snead, John Brown, Davante Adams
The person I'm going to offer a trade to is a HUGE Packers fan, she's been trying to get Rodgers from me from day one (I inherited him as my keeper when I joined the league).
Here's what I'm considering offering :
The plan would then be to use Gronkowski as my keeper for next year (along with Todd Gurley, who I can keep for a 7th round pick thanks to a rule we adopted a couple years ago - keep a rookie for a 7th rounder, makes our draft very interesting) I don't like Green's consistency issues and his week 16 matchup with Denver. I'd also be picking up Kamar Aiken and Jay Cutler off of waivers, if I go ahead with this and it works out. So, what are your opinions on this? I'm interested to see.
If you play Bortles Thursday night, he is locked into your roster at the QB slot until Tuesday of next week. Only if you BN him Thursday night can you drop in a waiver claim.
I probably should know this, but please help.
Players dropped Tues will go on waivers and become free agents on Friday. I have Bortles playing Thurs. Can I play Bortles Thurs, drop him after the game to pick up another player Friday with #1 waiver priority? I wouldn't need to play the player claimed off waivers this week.
NFL scoring does not charge a fumble on a muffed punt. However, Yahoo! scoring does charge a muffed punt as a fumble lost if the kicking team recovers. This is the only situation I can think of where Yahoo! scoring will be different than NFL scoring.
Since a kickoff is a live ball the offense has a chance to possess the ball without the receiving team touching or possessing the ball. On a punt, the kicking team cannot possess the ball unless it is at a minimum, touched by the receiving team..
It is not a fumble recovery because it is not a fumble. The kicking team is kicking the ball, the receiving team would have to possess the ball, then lose possession to the kicking team for it to be scored a fumble. Touching is not possession.
I noticed in my other league on ESPN Adrian Peterson finished with 40 points in PPR.
when I woke up this morning he was only 34 points. Did anyone else notice a drop of fantasy points for Adrian ?
I agree with you but just for the sake of argument if the receiving team touches the ball prior to the kicking team's recovery, couldn't you argue it as a fumble recovery? Does a muffed punt count as a fumble and fumble recovery? I honestly do not know.
Once the ball travels beyond the 10 yrd mark, its a free ball, either side can claim possession. It's not considered a change of possession because in actuality, any/either side can take possession.
I would assume you are talking about the receiving side special teams. If so it is because it is ruled as a return if they get it. If the kicking team gets it, it is considered the offensive side of the ball.
