Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
10 team league H2h Category scoring. My roster right now is:
SS-Starlin Castro(may be included in deal)
SP-Arreita, Harvey, Tyson Ross, Alex wood, Heaney, Jaime Garcia, CJ Wilson, Ian kennedy
RP-Robertson, Aj Ramos, Brad Ziegler, Jim Johnson, Ken Giles
I get: Sonny Gray, Manny Machado, Hanley Ramirez
I give: Prince Fielder, Mookie Betts, Tyson Ross, David Robertson
So Machado and Fielder are close in value. I think Mookie and Sonny are closs. So Ross and Robertson for Hanley. I need help at SS, Yelich takes Mookie's spot. and I'm deep in closers but it will be Ramos, Ziegler, Jim Johnson, and Giles(new Phi closer.) who wins?
How big or small is your league - if those are the choices, it seems quite small. Kemp has been excellent post all-star, but playing in San Diego is a hitters nightmare - he seems most droppable.
A bit of a long-shot, but it could very well be that no one in Oakland officially locks it down until Doolittle returns--who is said to be progressing.
Which side would you rather in a 20 teams league, 20 keepers. R, HR, RBI, BB, AVG, XBH, NSB//W, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, QA
Rizzo, Aramis, and Brian Johnson or Hosmer, Wong, and Pineda?
SP: Jose Fernandez, Martin Perez, Gerrit Cole, Karns, Wacha, Shelby Miller, Carrasco, Sale, Pineda, Bundy, Wheeler, Hunter Harvey
Goldy side is better. +12R/+6HR/+24RBI/+3SB/+.064AVG
That's the difference between Goldy and Rizzo 2/3 of the way through the season(Let's extrapolate). When we consider a deviation above average, Goldy has it everywhere, and is pretty much the top dog in RBI's and AVG. He is not nearly as replaceable as 60 innings of good K's/ERA/WHIP.
My long term view of him has been the same as always...injury prone...great when active...best when in COL.
His hard hit percentage has been very good this year and pretty much every year.
Post your full rosters. I'm with the others that have a hard time believing those are your most droppable players. All of those players should have at least some value on the trade market, which would make a lot more sense than dropping any of them.
Yeah i was confident in my team i just wanted assurance that maybe some people might find something weak that I can tweak. With this being a money league all the help is best.
WHatever you do, don't drop Holliday. Guy has been a monster in the 2nd half every year over his long career. I find it hard to believe that the worst player on your team has an o-rank of 50 or so. If anything package Kemp and Rendon in a trade.
