Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Non ppr: 1) Stafford is my only QB. Start him @ NE or add/use of these instead: Sanchez,McGown or Tannehill? 2) 2 best flex options: Lafell,J.Gordon,Crowell,Sanu or K.Allen? Thanks
In a 10-team H2H standard 0.5 PPR league with a 5-6 record (7th place) and I'm out of a playoff spot and desperate for wins...things aren't looking good and I've been on a 4-game losing streak after a hot start. I need a win and the 6th seed to lose to get in a playoff spot. Here's my roster and likely who I'm starting this week:
QB - Stafford, WR - Jordy Nelson, Josh Gordon, RB - Morris, Gore, TE - Fleener, W/R - Arian Foster, W/R/T - Andre Johnson, BN - Terrance West, Dwayne Allen, Matt Ryan, Terrance Williams, Steve Smith, Kenny Britt
1) Foster seems like he'll be out so I do I quickly try to trade someone off my bench for Blue or can I get that kind of production from someone on off my bench or waiver wire?
2) Should I drop Matt Ryan or someone off my bench to pick up and start Sanchez? People are saying he'll have a great week...I just don't want to drop Stafford or Ryan with their playoff schedules.
3) Should I pick up Kendall Wright and start him since he has a nice matchup? And is there any trades I could make to improve my team since I'm in win-now mode? I can't believe the collapse I've been on.
Thanks in advance!
How the #$%$ are we suppose to answer this question without knowing the other teams in the playoffs or your leagues scoring settings?
Thanks for the feedback. I ended up dealing Evans for Maclin, like the offense better, like the consistency, although this 3 week stretch has been pretty historic for Evans.
Both of my teams are pretty much locked in for the playoffs, how far do you think they will go?
10 team league, keeper league(5 keepers)
WR Sanders, Hilton
RB Lacy, Foster
W/R/T Denard Robinson, Steven Jackson
BN Dwayne Allen, Fred Jackson, Alfred Blue, Micheal Floyd
My team has been on fire the past few weeks after a slow start, because Sanders and Hilton have been providing WR1 stats weekly and Lacy has finally got it going.
My TE and flex positions are a problem though, and I have yet to find solid players for those positions.
I was excited to pick up Allen as some team had dropped him when he was on bye, but now he is injured and I dont know how long he will be out.
(I started off the season with Vernon Davis as my TE, then I switched to Cameron, than to Kelce, than back to Vernon, than back to Cameron, than to Allen, than to Rudolph and now I am back starting Kelce)
10 team league
WR Jeffery, Nelson, Julio
RB Forsett, Denard Robinson
BN Tannehill, CJ Anderson, Odell Beckham JR, Leveon Bell, LaFell, Jonas Gray
I think I have solid players at all positions, but I might be weak at TE.
It's close, but I always have a decided preference for the player in the more explosive offense unless you are dealing with a transcendent talent like Josh Gordon at WR or AP at RB, so I strongly prefer Maclin as he's in an offense that will keep on scoring. The Bucs? Who knows.
KC. Raiders "offense" is slightly worse than Jax, and KC DEF is better than Colts DEF. Washington offense is way better than Raiders or Jax

First of all, who is your opponent this week-a cellar dweller, juggernaut or middle of the pack?
If the possible options are:
Stills, VJax, Hill in lineup, Gio on bench (most upside)
VJax, Gio, Hill in lineup, Stills on bench (most downside)
Stills, Gio, Hill in lineup, VJax on bench (safest option)
I would bench VJax if your opponent is bad and you are just trying not to blow a probable win
I would bench Gio if your opponent is a juggernaut and you want max possible points
