  I don't think Stafford will see playing time until half the season is over, and then he's still a rookie on a bad team. So the trade is basically Barber for Slaton.

  Is round 5 too early to draft Stafford. I've watched all 3 of the Lions pre-season games and he hasn't thrown a bad pass yet. I plan on going RB, WR, RB, WR and then take Stafford in the fifth. Too early?
