Should I shake up my roster?

Just like real baseball, anything can happen in H2H so don't freak out, you had a bad week. That said, you have the depth with Walker to deal Pedroia for a better 1B or a money SP. You might also look to upgrade at Catcher. Otherwise your team is actually pretty solid, however, I would prefer more Infield depth over a guy like Aoki.

If you already have a good 1Bman and want to chance picking up a high upside OF like Springer mashing out of the gate, then I think Butler is relatively safe to drop. The others I would only look to trade if desired rather than drop.

add a Catcher or stand pat... there's no point in dealing Trout unless you are significantly upgrading across the board, but I like the thought actually... it's a decent proposition as is... whether the other dude would go for it is another matter. What 1Bmen are available on waivers?

Els is nice, but your weakness is 1B/C and to a lesser degree Pitching, so aiming at Els doesn't really address your team needs.

If Mesoraco (C- Cin) is on waivers, drop Aoki and pick him up.

Your best move would be Lucroy and Mesoraco... they will both hit more than Gyorko and Wong... dude, forget Wong... Gyorko is mid-tier at best. Lucroy is proven and Mesoraco is mashing (#3 Catcher in fantasy right now.) Carry them both and you can play Lucroy at 1B when you want. That's what I do in a couple leagues.

depends on your OF and depth... Sizemore could possibly hit himself into a more regular role and perhaps has trade value as well, where as Springer is a total unknown at the big league level with zero protection in the Astros lineup agains far better pitchers than what Springer has seen.... you want to drop a hot hitting Grady to see how Springer matches up against Verlander, Scherzer, Sale, Shields, Ventura etc.?

Nope I wouldn't Witt. First off you don;t really have Hamels or Iwakuma as they're both injured and on your DL... so your pitching is not quite as deep as would appear. Second, I think Cashner is more valuable at the moment, especially with Boni hitting well. I would seek to deal Masterson or Peavy rather than Cashner, but it's only an opinion without full knowledge of waiver availability and your current roster.

That's a pretty decent group actually... Morneau and Duda are probably worth snagging, possibly both and seeing how things roll. My prob with your Trout idea is that I do not see you significantly upgrading any position or category really... Trout and Cargo are pretty close, so you're really saying that you like the idea of Cargo/Abreu more than Trout/Butler... ok can't blame you there, but because of Trout's name and play value... if you were to deal him, I think you should bag a mad slanted haul in your favor, therefor, I would say be patient, pick up a 1B or two off the wire and see how all the different player values start to define themselves more since April is always a poor indicator for the long term in general.

I think dropping Gregerson hurts you the least and is the easiest to replace if you need Holds down the road once you figure out who of your position players you can part with or someone gets injured and goes to your DL. Nice lookin roster btw!!

5 seasons, huh? If you're looking beyond 2-3 ...you're probably not killing the competition in your fantasy leagues... what has Butler done lately? Answer: Significantly decreased production that continues to trend downward. Would I, myself, project Springer to beat a proven major leaguer... probably not, but a lot of people like rolling the dice on sexy plays, so given the choices of the players presented... Butler is the obvious choice. and yes Nando, you made a mistake dropping Rendon, lol!

wow... angry much? First off, I know exactly what I'm talking about when I say "trending downward" so you clearly must be a Royals fan or else you're just a blowhard to get so upset about a baseball opinion.

By "trending downward" I mean that Butler to me appears to have either had a flukey season 2 years ago in 2012 or he is a reformed steroid abuser who's true power stats have come to settle at more pedestrian levels. The supposed big bat of Butler hit a grand total of 15 HRs in 592 ABs last year and is batting a scorching cold .143 at the moment. I would call the combination of those two facts as "trending downward" ...what do you call it? Good? You talk about being "league average" like that's a good thing in fantasy... you are wrong if you believe that. The guy asked which player made sense to drop. rendon is not a matter of being bandwagon, he has been highly thought of for years and is now getting a legit shot, which he is making the most of, plus as I stated before, I only recommended he drop a guy like Butler to pick up the likes of Springer if there was ample choices of 1Bmen available on Waivers... which there are because he listed like 5 guys hitting better than Butler.

So really guy, get a grip on yourself and make a little room for opinions other than your own, you might benefit yourself some if you tried to process what others have to offer rather than flying off the handle when someone disagrees with your position Jesse James, lol!!!

Yeah I think that's wise man... Rendon's mashing so really no point in dropping him. I think Jesse just forgot to take his meds, lol.
