I think it will be timeshare best case scenario with 60% load. He is injury prone and signed to 1yr contract I believe. Miller is the future over there as long as he progresses. Still very young. Plus Miller has played very well this yr despite that one fumble. If Miller keeps it up Moreno could be looking at only 10 touches per game unless they go super run heavy and give up on tannahill.

Have to object. In particular in redraft leagues. Asiata has never waivered as #2 RB vs Mckinnon. Sure, athletic freakiness is great BUT nfl IQ, team cohesion, adaptability to diff defensive schemes, locker room chemistry, ability to overcome past failure... and so much more is part of the nfl. I def like McKinnon's career but I would go the 'vet' here this yr as Minn is fragile - where pass pro would be monumental for a seemingly 1 dimensional team. Need all the help they can get from the air. Plus they always have C Patterson for explosive plays out the backfield. I just do not trust fairly new players converting to diff positions on rookie yr. Jax Denard Robinson rings a bell. I'm strictly just talking from a rookie standpoint this yr

Something tells me AP is not done for yr and could be brief... Not saying it is right/wrong as I do not know all the facts. He is being totally cooperative and never denied it. He explained that is how he was raised and he admitted goin too far in heat of moment as the son pushed another son off a bike?? I think that is how it went. Plus he lost a son last yr due to similar circumstances so he has felt the 'wrongness' of it 1st hand. These reasons are why I think he will be treated differently than Rice. I have not seen the pics and do not know the severity (and if he did brutally hit the kid than he should be banned for life and beat himself). just my initial reaction to event. I honestly thought he was being extorted - did not believe he could follow such an act as to what happened last yr. Very bad week (year..) for NFL, fans, and mankind.

I like Mathews. He was beastly last yr and always projected that way if he could stop getting injured. SD has a good Passing attack with Keenan, the TEs, and the little backs (could confuse Defenses with 2 RB formations). NY is just too predictable and I do believe Oak got some defensive talent this offseason.
10T Auction Pro League. Did I leave my team too shaky and weak for long haul?? Obviously I can't afford an injury to the top 3 hahahaha
Figured very shallow league with no flex spot - small rosters. I bid alot of my money on (3) 1st rd pick type guys.
WR Calvin Johnson
WR D Thomas
WR A Bolden
RB L Mccoy
RB B Pierce (hoping he starts!)
Bench: Ridley (taking a risk), Kaep, Ivory, J. Stewart, Devonta Freeman, Jordan Mathews
Waivers clear tomorrow. Prob will save my #5 waiver and hope I move up after the frenzy tom.
FA Avail: R Cooper, D Bowe, Nicks, DeAngelo, Shonne Green, C Michael, Ladarius, H miller, Gates, Fleener, Cook, Ebron... alot of TEs (Kelce taken)
Thinking of dropping Kaep, Stewart, and/or Ivory for some of these guys. Any suggestions?

I agree you have to go west. Esp because you have Tate who could def get injured. Kelce would have been nice to have also as you could flip current TE for upgrade somewhere. Believe Kelce could def be solid top12 TE in KC empty passing game. Could see a lot of targets from Alex smith who loved his TE in SF

Yeah but even if trent is bad they are a pass 1st team with all the weapons they have. 2 decent TEs and a million WRs. Hill is already locked into 200 touches I think on run heavy team (new coaching staff who loves the run) plus 80% of goal line touches. Plus given bradshaws extensive injury history and age... but either is good opion

If I had Arian Foster I might put Grimes at number 1 if it would still enable roster flexibility and substituting. Otherwise,
4. John Brown
Kenbrell, Khiry and Santonio are interesting too with an injury ahead of them.

I would have def gone both rbs before cincy drafted Hill. Dez is great but so many great WRs and Romo might be hurting?? But now Hill has looked pretty solid and may take away a healthy portion of Gio's workload. Go Dez and Ball here. Good luck

with all TDs worth 6pts... seems like QB is pretty valuable. You have a high upside guy in Stafford. Lacy is another great guy to have on roster.
Other than that you have a team that is very risky but could get you in playoffs. It is very possible the rest of your RBs could flop in NON-PPR - not put up RB2 numbers in 10 team league. Ellington "could" breakdown being a workhorse back (small guy and hasn't proven can handle getting hit 20+ times/game). Roddy has been outside WR1 for a little while and we do not know how garcon will produce with DJax. Not a bad team but just saying I would def trade 2for1 or 3for1 and upgrade - even if you are slightly upgrading.
I might move witten who has very good value with White for elite WR who would put up more numbers than either. Chances are Witten might be on your bench... Also, No need for 2 Defenses as you can always play weekly matchup. drop for a huge risk/reward lottery ticket guy like a handcuff to someone currently dealing with minor injury and could go down week 1.

Trade my C Clay TE MIA for H Nicks WR IND..
Start 2 WRs, 1 TE with 2 flex spots
Currently have Ladarius Green and Eric Ebron now also for TE. Have K Allen, Garcon, Harvin, Hunter, Michael Floyd for WR.
Think Clay would prob be bench but possibly start with average TE results while Upside of Nicks with Luck could be much more valuable. Just not sure how Nicks has been fitting in while they still have Hilton, Wayne, and moncrief along with two decent TEs??

I'd take lacy.. esp if unlimited keeper where you can keep lacy for many yrs. He is in better, more efficient offense (against a weaker division defense) and def 3 down back. Lunbar could sneak into demarco's touches and murray always has the injury risk.

I have to just debate the Stanton vs cargo comp 1st... Stanton is in much worse environment and lineup and has done just about equally except sb. But Stanton has the higher career OPS and started being elite at much earlier age ( by 4yrs) without the benefit of Coors. I do agree No one knows how a prospect will fair in majors - look at Delmon Young (former #1 Overall Prospect). Even if You are die hard Cubbie fan you should be able to get at least another keeper upgrade or strong non-keeper player to help win ths yr also. Plus there are plenty of Cubs Prospects (or other teams prospects) to target who you can get cheaper.

They announced knoshown could be out all preseason so Miller will run with 1s and management will have to go with him on a decent upside offense who will run a lot. Most already know he has the talent do he is def the pick here as Jackson will have to compete against 2 other strong rbs for reps
- wildchild wildchild Aug 2, 2014 1:57 PM Flag
Unless it is ridiculous scoring league where QBs score 2Xs more than others - I would def take Lacy #1!! Even then.. I might still take lacy unless I knew 8+ other QBs were being kept. They are talking that Lacy will be 3 down back on one of top 4 offense in league. Rodgers isn't goin anywhere for a long time so Lacy has some security unlike Ball and Foster

Gore is getting close to that dropoff age and they have very capable backup rb in hyde and lattimore was a fav of management when they drafted him. He could prove healthy as yr progresses. I suspect they will even go after another rb as they lost a couple already due to injury. I would take cobb here as he was on a great pace last yr on explosive offense.

You can def rule out lynch as he will be losing carries to Michael - think at least 70/30 split. Already a little bad blood with team and he has already considered retirement?? Just a rumor I read he said but a risk nevertheless (point is we do not know where his head is and what he is thinkn). Megatron has a lot more competition from market to be top dog. I would go graham here

Need to drop at least 2. Need to drop a 3rd for the number 8 pick in rookie draft (which is obviously what I should do). Need to drop a 4th and 5th for 2 3rd rd picks. (remember - rookie draft in 16t league so might not be much left)
Thinkn drop Denario, Broyles, Finley at least and scoop up a ebron or a rb (was hoping devonte would drop to me but gaining a lot of hype now). Thinkn I should try to trade cooper for a earlyish 2nd rd pick for a flier
