I'm hoping he turns it around. ATL has always gotten good production from SP. He also plays in very weak division where the Phillies, Mets, and Marlins should settle down to below average rosters. He also has a great yr under belt and has draft pedigree - 2nd rd. The only thing is his velocity has been down a bit but have heard nothing about injury so he could/should get stronger

Trading Cano in a dynasty league..

I might try to flip a combo like Cano and Wright for arenado and his best pitcher (like a top 5 dynasty SP type). I think Arenado could (and may has already to some) jump ahead of wright in value going forward. Cano for Sale might interest me if I was in Real big need for SP help AND FA pool was very thin (where Streaming could not help either).

Addison Russell obvious #1. Minors performance plus pedigree on up and coming team. I would go Peraza barely over Swihart as Catchers wear down and typically can not produce more than a couple top 100 fantasy hitter seasons. Then Glasnow (K machine, huge build - durability) and right behind him owens who is a little more polished but does not have the upside.

Hahn actually was a very highly touted guy before the draft but there were concerns about health that dropped him to the 6th rd. I believe he needed TJ surgery soon after being drafted. Otherwise, he has some filthy stuff and has been overlooked for awhile. I think he sticks in rotation and could be a top 40 SP easy - if he stays healthy. Think Pomeranz and Hahn are very similar in value (ceiling = SP3-4 in 12 team) while Graveman would be solid last bench option as he does not have the experience, low K potential, and a poor offense to give him Ws. The others make up for the Ws with Ks and more reliable/reasonable ratios.

  • Just drafted 14 team league roto. 5X5. Skimped a little on Pitching/OF and SBs...

    C Lucroy
    1B Big Papi
    2B Rendon
    3B Donaldson
    SS Tulo
    MI Aybar
    CI Sandoval
OF Heyward, Rios, Markakis, Stubbs, A Jackson
    Util M Taylor (WAS)
Bench: Flores, Owings, Chisenhall, Ike Davis

    SP Harvey
    SP A Wood
    RP Storen
    RP Papelbon
    P Anibal Sanchez
    P Kennedy
    P T Walker
    P Odorizzi
    P Peavy
    Bench D Norris (TOR)

Alot of Injury risk BUT figured Tulo/Papi/Rendon/Harvey + their respective replacements would trump most in a deeper 14 team league. I could get lucky and get 80-90% of season from them but most likely 65-75%.

Who should I drop and for who??

    Available on FA tom morning:

Hitters: Devon Travis, Eric Young (ATL - starter for awhile), Rutledge, Gillaspie, Sam Fuld, J Schafer, Marisnick, BJ Upton, Seth Smith, Kiermaier,

Pitchers: Chen, Burnett, Aaron Sanchez, Sabathia, Simon, Greene, Haren, Norris, Buerhle, Raisel, Farquhar, Warren, Gibson

I have 6th Waiver Priority. Thinkn about holding it and picking up someone in leftovers... but who? Maybe I can find some SBs or other upgrades throughout season when rookies get called up. I liek Devon Travis maybe but have plenty of MI options already
