Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I've got both Hanzal and Krejci, and both of them are point-per-game players so far this season. I want to trade one while their value is high. Which of the two do you think will maintain their pace for the season? The stats my league uses are G, A, PT, PPP, SHP.
It's a nice problem to have but a problem nonetheless...
Pick 2 of the 4:
Crawford vs Vancouver
Lundqvist @ Minnesota
Bishop @ Ottawa
Hammond vs Tampa Bay

Anyone get annoyed at receiving trade offers like these?
Ondrej Pavelec, Jhonas Enroth, and Brooks Orpik for Ben Bishop
Evgeni Nabokov, Jiri Tlusty, and Seth Jones for Ben Bishop
Yes... they are by the same team. By the way there is no +/- or PIM in this league. The funny thing about this is I consider everyone else on my team to be better then players I'd have to drop them to get. When rejecting an offer like this what would you be saying to the team?
He's got great numbers in a limited role so far, but Varlamov got put on the IR and then Berra supposedly got hurt - any update on his condition? I was going to pick up Berra but instead may pick up Reimer (got limited goalie choices)

He was placed on IR yesterday during the day. Yahoo doesn't update that until the next day. When you wake up today you can place him on IR. I wouldn't pick up Berra though.

Really tough one. I'd stick with what you have though. The only reason I'd go for that is because Stamkos will really help your goals stat category whereas most fantasy centers have more assists.

I wouldn't drop Halak. The Anaheim goalie situation is so up in the air you who have no idea what you're getting... are you getting a 1/1A situation? Will Anderson outplay Gibson relegating him to backup status? Halak has posted good numbers for each team he's played for and this is the undisputed #1 job he's been trying to get since he was in the shadows of Carey Price.

Granlund. Last season he was sandwiched between Zach Parise and Jason Pomminville and the line had great chemistry. He's only going to get better.
I'm in a H2H league and was offered this trade...
G - B. Bishop (reigning Vezina finalist goalie)
G - O. Pavelec (one of the worst starting goalies in the league)
G - J. Enroth (platoon goalie for one of the worst teams in the league)
B. Orpik (has zero fantasy value as this league has no PIM or +/- stats)
Just for fun, the two players I'd drop for this would be my worst ones: Del Zotto and Havlat. My other goalies are Lundqvist and Crawford so I'm not dropping them.
I'm not asking if this is a fair... it's obvious it's not. The question is what words would you type when you tell this guy he's delusional if he think's that is even a remotely fair deal?
Also who from this list would you consider to be a fair counter-offer in a straight-up deal: Toews, E. Staal, Bergeron, Krejci, Neal.
Since he's gone until after the reg season ends, I need to replace Zetterberg (C, LW).
I'm looking at these guys:
They are all within a few points of each other and their actual position is of no consequence to me. I'm thinking Marchand just because he may have the lowest points (37) but in his first 24 games he had 9 and in his last 32 he's had 28. I'm also pondering Bergeron because of his playing on both specialty teams. Stats are G, A, PT, PPP, SHP, GWG
H2H league. GP, GS, W, SO, Save % are the categories. Pick two of the four...
Lundqvist home to TB
Smith @ STL
Halak home to PHX
Varlamov @ CHI
Right now I'm opting for Lundqvist and Halak... help please..

Well like you said they still have to drop someone to facilitate the trade, so you're in fact losing three players off your roster, not two - so the vallue of that third player needs to be factored in. But yes, whoever gets Crosby wins the trade something fierce.
