Tanaka, Blackmon & Pagan for Stanton

I'll start off by saying these two things. Blackmon is not an MVP candidate by the end of the year. Nice player but he is playing far over his head. He will come back down to earth. Secondly, Tanaka is making a serious Cy-young case this year in the AL. If it is a category league i would probably do it because Stanton is a serious MVP candidate.

    Hamilton Trade (Josh)

I would trade for him now. Probably because his value will definantly be at its lowest right now and I am confident he is somewhat closer to being Josh Hamilton of 2 years ago then last years Josh Hamilton. Although i geniusly drafted him late in my draft but traded him pre season for eric hosmer....i lucked out avoiding the injury but was upset wit the numbers he was producing before he went down.

i already accepted it. Melky was a FA pickup for me immediately after the draft and hes panned out dramatically. Cashing in on his value at its peak right now for a top 5 pick in the draft is percisely what my team needed to dig outta my 8th place hole.

    Brandon Belt

Typically its harder to do trades in fantasy baseball just because there are so many factors leading into any trade. My league is also hard to deal. usually 1-5 trades are completed by the entire league throughout the whole year. Anyways, Belt has little to no value right now. Wait for him to return. Once he has the first good game and a homerun...trade him

ugh points league sucks. takes the strategy and management right out of fantasy baseball. Do it. Cause carpenter probly is worth #$%$ in points leagues right? idk i never do them. Cause they ruin fantasy baseball.

Are you drunk. HELL NO. Carpenter just finished a 14 game hitting streak. If its a category league pitching is simply not worth trading for unless its really low. BUT if you play in a points league in which all the top scorers are pitchers. Then yes it might be a good option. BUT in a category standard league someone more like Nick Markakis would be Cashners value.

Here's an update. Brandon Belts exciting start was a mirage...he will continue to hit below .250 and maybe reach 20 homeruns by the end of the year. TRADE TRADE TRADE

Being a current Cashner owner my opinion may be biased. But lets shed some light on this question. His injury was really not something that should have put him out for a month...but the Padres are being so cautious because Cashner is the real deal for sure. Through 57.1 hes 2-5 with 47 K's an ERA of 2.37 and 7 Quality Starts. He will not be a big Wins producer but theres no doubt he will continue to post a sub 3 ERA and without this month of DL stint he was a clear 200 IP guy. A true Ace if you can buy low, do it and thank me later.

Who got the better end of this trade?

If this trade is based on standard category league, Team A got the better deal no doubt about it. People will say Kinsler is the best person in this trade because of his power, but altuve leads the league in hits, produces runs, and steals more bases CJ Wilson has also been far better than Kuroda who is usually not worth a free agent add. Dont listen to these fools Team A made out like a thief.

  • I trade away:
    Melky Cabrera (OF)
    Jason Kipnis (2B)

    I recieve:
    Carlos Gonzalez (OF)
    Dee Gordon (2B,SS)

I feel as if this was a no brainer for me, I need power in my lineup and consistently lose Stolen BAses week after week. Just want to hear some peanut gallery opinions. Thanks.
