i hear you...i am locked out of my league along with two other players who dared to complain when the commish did a number of unbelievable moves....like voiding the draft when he did not show up and didn't like his team. i asked to be replaced, even found someone to take over the team but he locked me out for my "potty mouth"....no recourse with yahoo sucks....they have to change or i will....

oh, and adams is going to be a star....they will open up a spot for him this year....he's a 30 hr, 100 rbi, high average guy who would of broke out this year if he had more oppurtunity to do so....check out his stats anytime he started for a week or more....when he gets in the zone he's a monster....i like his consistentcy too....not a guy who will have hugh peaks and valleys.

not sure what you call a sleeper but i love your list....hey, weird thing to consider about latin players by the way is they seem to come on like crazy (some anyway) the first season and have drop offs the second....then the really good ones adjust in their third. i look for latin players who disappoint their second seasons to take flyers on....i think it has something to do with the cultural adjustments they go through....plus after good rookie seasons they get so much attention back home they put their work ethic on hold and they suffer....the third season seems to be the clue as to a latin players future to me....it's a sterotypical judgment of course so their are exceptions but check it out if you think it has judgemental value.

i kinda punt the closer position on draft day (catchers also) and depend on the waiver wire to pick up closers early on and usually do ok....flexibility is sooo inportant, and the closer spot ties up two (or more) player positions....still even though it only really contributes to one category if possible you want to tie it up....closers are like rock stars....everyone loves one till the next guy comes along....they flame in and flame out so quickly....i prefer to take my chances on sleepers and other marginal type guys in the later rounds and when they pan out its great....when they don't there usually is today's new hot closer to pick up (i sometimes stream closers when it matters) anyway, ....

i think parsons has that kind of FANTASY upside...yes. i love teague over holiday cause you know what your getting. this is a big year for holiday to see his full potential cause he'll have a big man to pick and role with for the first time. i worry his shot solection and passing decisions will keep his to's and fgp. numbers bad. but like i said, i think (my) juries still out on him. As to parsons....i did not consider harden and your right about him but i see parsons as one of those guys who never makes the all star team and people take his numbers for granted and where he falls short in the glamour stats like points he'll more than make up in defensive stats and be a top fgp. for his position. i like his game a lot and maybe i'm giving him more upside than he deserves but with a big now and the other obvious firepower he'll be open a lot and the white boy can shot like crazy....anyway, you make me think, thanks for that and the discussion

yea, drummond is the guy....just watch out for other players ftp, and try to add some blocks cause monroe will be the paint guy in detroit....same problem with valan. with blocks but he has less upside that drummond....remeber both these guys are being hyped to death but haven't proven they are top guys yet

your loaded with points and weak on your front line....sg is seriously iffy, so is sf.....you didn't say how many keepers but i'd hang on to irving, i'm high on burks although he'll be eup and down given he's first year point, and dragic is underrated....holiday has a lot of trade value, i think he's a bit overrated but this year will tell the tale cause he'll have a paint patrol guy for the first time....davis should make him better but his to's are terrible and they don't seem to be getting better.oladipo is your best sg believe it or not, chandler's worth hanging on to cause he plays two positions but i don't think much of harkless and young's minutes will seriously dry up when kobe returns. cousins is a major talent, kanter still has a lot of learning to do and might develop any time soon into a serious fantasy player....the rest of your guys are marginal at best although robinson is my sleeper of the year he's still a long ways off from having fantasy value...if aldridge goes down (or if portland sucks at the trading deadline and moves him) robinson could have double double numbers although denfensive stats should stay messed up and he could be a turnover disaster....you need to pay attention to fg pct. and free throw pct, blocks and steals catagories cause your not going to scare anyone with scoring, 3 pointers and rebounds....your a year or two away from having a really good team

oh, are you wedded to anderson as a keeper?....i don't think he has such a great future - he's kinda a freak statwise, and in real life doesn't seem to be the guy of player you need to win....just sayin

parsons or thompson would be my favorites....although lowery, pekovic, and ilyasova are close seconds to them. parson's will be hugh this year and has potential to be, after james and durant the best sf in the league for a while. thompson probably is more talented but g s is a tough place to play cause they have had such bad top down management for a while....they seem to be getting their act together but time will tell. they got a lot of people who can play sf and that will cut into thompson's minutes unless he becomes the number two offensive option....still, i love his future....both have great work ethic and grounded in fundenmentals

if you can get carpenter do it....but i would be hard pressed to give up beltre....guys like him seem to go on for ever, could have 3, even more productive years left..3b's top 3b's are hard to come by, he isn't an outfielder nor a speed guy so he's less prone to injuries, i gave up on beltre after his season with the giants and have regretted it ever since....carpenter has hugh upside but one year does not make a career....push come to shove, if i'm a contender i keep beltre, if i'm rebuilding i might go for carpenter. remeber, there is a time to go for it and a time to build, if your close to winning it all beltre will help you - if your team is falling a part towards the end of the season you can find a contender to pick up prospects from for him, he's a money player

always favor youth over age (injury factor) when it is a difference....no pitchers for first 3 to 5 picks....best players available for those picks even if same position players...most leagues favor hr's so look for those guys....players with consistently 140 or more games a season played for a few years....middle rounds go for pitchers (sp's) (rp are cheap and easy to come by after seasons begin)....and to fill in positions that are weakest....of's unless major players pass on unless your inf. is getting filled....rarely draft a catcher and pick one up after season starts....very few are major impact guys....then as it closes look for sleepers....guys coming back with potential....impulse guys....your going to miss on a few picks but most leagues are won and lost on the waiver wire rather than draft....remeber, what seperates better teams from the rest are rounds after the known players are gone....only about ten to 20 sp's worth drafting in first 5 rounds........thats my basic stuff....i do pretty well....won 3 trophys this year and only had one bad team and i took it over as a last place team in a keeper last 5 weeks of the season to see how long it'll take me to make it a contender....so i don't know the science but my instincts seem to be reasonable....gl

assuming your in a keeper that is....otherwise...kick it and give it a month if possible....both should have breakouts this season....if batum stays healthy (last year played last 2 months with serious hand injury) he'll have great stats, with much better defensive numbers....both him and mathews will benefit from having someone in the paint now with hickson gone

gotta get davis....he's the truth and the future....still a baby and light years ahead of other bigs in his class....remember....he'd be a junior if he stayed at kentucky....proto-type of bigs for the future
