honestly it all depends on the league context. some leagues have Milb rosters (like mine) so the draft is usually guys that will produce this year.
now if you get to pick 7-8 and you dont think your team will compete this year then start taking more prospects....but you should have a team that can compete this year with an eye for the future (so as another guy said...guys like pujols that could produce pretty good this year but are at the end of their careers...they should be drafted much later than their ADP......conversely, hosmer has room to grow and might be a guy you would want to reach a little on....)

dont have a preference, but k/9 makes RP more valuable for sure. also k/9 would slow down streaming (you can never stop streaming really)

I run a dynasty league where some managers were not very active and they are being replaced. If you are interested post your email address and I will email you the rosters. It is a 16 team H2H league. R, Hits, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, K, TB, AVG, and OPS are the hitting categories. IP, W, L, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, K/BB, K/9, and QS are the pitching categories. Deep rosters and 8 MiLB players (not on active roster).
21 keepers and 8 man MiLB system.
Teams need some TLC but league is very active and these teams can be fixed easily with dedication
