while i completely disagree with veto leagues, i also dont understand this trade at all....if the guy on team b is playing for next year, wouldnt he be trading anything EXCEPT the keepers? trading the best players just doesnt seem to make any sense....

id need a bunch more than that to give up buxton. the roster may not look great now, but give it a few years. sano, buxton, and nick gordon (drafted this week) are all solid options. and buxton's scouting grade was 9A.....the 9 means "potential to be a perennial all star player" the A means "very high likelihood of reaching potential"......most comparisons i have seen are mike trout 2.0 with less power and more speed....id hold onto him unless you get a substantial offer

at min hes a "two trick pony" bc 14 runs each month is pretty legit too....and at SS/2B eligibility instead of OF, thats much harder to find...

i doubt they want to call up a guy whos that young, to sit him every few days....im not a GM but they usually talk about wanting them to get 3-4 ABs everyday...just my though

league context matters...what if its AL only? just saying, if you take the time to post....you might as well answer their question as to who is better...

its so funny how everyone wants to point at his injury history...ANY player can get injured on ANY play....its not like he has chase utley's knees or has any issue that should affect him long term....its like saying ellsbury is injury prone bc a guy landed on him one year and he had a few injuries the couple years before that....it just makes me laugh....anyways, this kid (yes kid) has elite power and in the MLB today, there isnt many guys with 50 HR potential....this kid could do that easily in his prime, and i dont see any reason he wont hit at least 35 HR this year (probably more really)....i have been getting killed on these boards for years for liking him, especially by #$%$ strong (who likes to bring up chone figgins' 162 game average....what happened to that? LOL)
anyways, ill keep rostering him (keeper leagues i have in 2 of my 3 that im in) and keep turning down offers from other managers who need power.....

^ same response i have seen on the last two posts you have made....
to answer your question topper, id say seager. he has legit power and while his BA is low, the league average BA is something like .240...so it doesnt hurt as bad as years past

they would have to trade more than one OF for there to be a spot for pederson....Kemp, Puig, Ethier, and Crawford are all still on their roster.....who would sit?

check out dee gordon's minor league career numbers....those 100 AB's last year were too small of a sample size to say thats who he is....and the 100 AB's that guerrero has in the minors so far is also too small of a sample size.....but rank players how you want, my point was that you dont KNOW what dodgers management will do until they either do it or tell you personally (which i doubt you have had any contact with the GM recently)

while i agree that it is lopsided, sometimes team needs trump true value of players....for instance if i desperately need a SS and have tons of pitching, i could envision myself making a trade similar to this....its all about context, but im not a fan of vetoing any trade in a keeper league. its not your place to value players in other peoples trades...just make sure its not collusion...
