The only thing I think Dallas may be playing for now is playoff seeding. They have the NFC East so there's no more mystery there. Not a Dallas fan but at the least they will have a home playoff game in the wildcard round; I'd think they would want to make sure he's healthy for the playoffs.

I don't think you're crazy ........ tough call. Jackson seems to be the most-used RB in Buffalo, is heavily involved in both the rushing game and passing game. Of course, McCoy is as well. If I had to guess, I'd say McCoy will see more touches but that doesn't necessarily mean that he'll get more yards or TD's. He does seem to have the better match-up, so, I think I'd go with McCoy.
PPR league, 3 WR's and a WR/RB flex. Starting [currently] Maclin, Nelson & H. Douglas, w/ Lamar Miller in the FLEX. Have Andre Johnson on the bench who, now that Hopkins may be out, suddenly appears back in the picture. If Julio Jones plays, I probably put Johnson in for Douglas but looking to see if anyone else has any thoughts.

Wait until after the PHL/WASH game Saturday. If the Eagles lose, I'd just about be willing to bet that Murray will sit. If they win, as someone else noted in another thread, it becomes a playoff game for Dallas and you can bank on Murray starting. Bell's just been a little to inconsistent for my tastes.

I think you may find that Mathews will be a decent start this week. Washington is a much better match-up. As far as the OP, Hopkins apparently may not start now w/ his ankle injury, so, that could limit you further.

If all are healthy,in this order, 1) Newton 2) Orton 3) leave blank .......... Johnny Football would stand a real chance of negative numbers.

If Edelman isn't cleared from his concussion protocol, I'd run with LaFell and the other two you have starting. With Cleveland's mess at QB, I wouldn't trust Gordon as far as I can throw him. Garcon would be an interesting choice given Philly's lame secondary though .........

If you're still checking this thread ......... Tate for sure against a weak CHI pass defense, Douglas [Jones health is to iffy and a decent match-up against NO], and I'd lean towards Hopkins. His QB situation isn't great, but, Johnson's health is still a concern so he could be seeing extra work and Keenum does have some game experience. Gordon's QB situation is even worse.
Far as RB's, CJ & Williams. Jennings is still in a world of hurt.

Bumping this for anyone just coming in - Guess I'm leaning towards Roethlisberger as the lesser of two evils but interested in any other perspective.

If those are your only choices, I feel bad for you ........... Sanchez probably has more upside potential. Both are playing weak passing defenses, but Smith, after 15 games, has yet to throw a TD to a WR - only RB's & TE's. Had this discussion earlier because I have both Smith & Roethlisberger [same game opposing each other] and KC's pass DEF is only giving up on average 199 YPG but PIT's pass DEF is weak, so, it is a dilemma for me too. But in this case, I think 'Butt Fumble' Sanchez gives you more of a chance. The Redskins DEF is giving up 2 scores per game through the air alone & 238 YPG.

Looks like it's still just his TE's & RB's that have caught TD passes; point taken. Part of my thinking though is that PIT's run defense is significantly better that the pass defense. Smith definitely does seem to be able to dump off to them for TD's but does only average 211 YPG. Kc's pass DEF is stout, so, I guess that's the real question; which is the lesser of two evils - the QB who's the better passer against the tough defense or the lesser passer against the very leaky defense?
