standard 12 team ROTO league. I have made several moves and have a couple questions. first, I traded will myers, Adrian gonzalez and sonny gray for trout. was that to much? second, should I be worried about my pitching? here is the roster.
Teheran, james Paxton, cingrani, zack wheeler, kazmir, tiajuan walker,
jim johnsonn, chad qualls, joakim soria, Sergio santos, jesse crain.
yes, I have managed to put trout, miggy, goldy, and cutch on the same roster.

i think I would have kept myers and segura. I feel myers has way more power than cutch and will even get a handful of steals. there is no comparison for segura and villar.

I don't know what I would project but my plan is to hope he gets off to a slow start then low ball a trade offer using a hot bat I picked up from the wire. think it'll work?

I hear buxton has more speed than power though? do I really need that? I should pull a 12 in the steals cat with just Hamilton and ellsbury.
the commish in a 12 team roto keeper league I am in (keep 9 hitters) has decided to add the"na" position to our rosters and I plan to use my top pick this year (#9 overall) on a batting prospect. I know some of the top prospects like buxton, sano, springer, baez are available while bogaerts, and the type will be taken. who should I target? these are my batting keepers
McCann, fielder, profar, longo, tulo, ellsbury, kemp, billy Hamilton, castro

NOT RIZZO. without knowing much about the league I will assume it is around a 12 team league and odds are all the other teams will have kept better 1st basemen than Rizzo. so if you really like Rizzo you should be able to redraft him. it is fairly easy to find the hot OF in the middle of the season so that rules out choo for me. between profar and gyorko I probably take profar. he was the number one prospect last year. I think the reason he had a tough time in the majors was because he wasn't getting consistent at bats and was bouncing all over the field defensively. with a spot locked down at 2b I think he does well this year.

harper- yes I do believe he is the better fantasy option. not sure but I think he had 20hr and 11 steals last year while dealing with knee issues. as those issues clear up and he develops a little more harper turns into a potential 35-30 player. ellsbury has only shown significant power for one season a couple years back. the new stadium will help but he still does not have harpers power. the steals will be a little higher but not for much longer.
I just received miggy in a 12 team standard roto yahoo league. I had to give up Edwin encarnacion and carlos Santana. I plan to replace Santana by picking up yan gomes who is bumping Santana to 3b this year in Cleveland. was this a good deal for me?

tough call, if you throw in Abreu I think I would do that. I have heard that bogaerts is supposed to be on tulo's and hanley's level soon and is one of the frontrunners for ROY

so you are drafting a guy who will not get you 100 runs or 100 rbi's and around 20-25 hr at #4 overall? I understand cargo will probably not reach those numbers either because of injury but when cargo is injured you will still get replacement stats from whoever you get from the wire. cargo's per game averages seem to be much better than cutchs. (although I haven't actually looked). even jones outproduced cutch last year, 100 runs and rbi with around 10 more hr. average and sb not as good but you can find speed elsewhere. braun I understand because of the uncertainty.
mccutchen is pre ranked at 4 in yahoo. anybody else think this is a couple spots high. I think I would rather have cargo, adam jones, or braun instead. how high do you have mccutchen? roto league
