Injuries are usually easy to figure out and as long as someone will be out for a while, I dont see why they cant be put on the IR. Some basic leagues are for fun. Mine is for money. I cant drop players like this b/c its a keeper league. If "ppl win/lose due to this" is it fair? I think its BS to be honest for such a simple fix. You can strategize all you want and even injuries are to be expected but because the team doesent need to put them on the IR doesent make a player healthy. Hes injured. The IR is for INJURIES plain and simple. The NHL does not resemble fantasy hockey at all. Why do people think they are cool because they can fix their team. Not everyone can. Competition is about fairness and should be as close to fair as possible. If one player is on the IR and one isint is that fair?

Osgood has great stats (i actually have him on my team) but 2 bad game in a row = less starts and if you want to compete for 1st then you need a lot of quality starts. If i offered that trade to the guy in my league who has nabokov, I know he would look at me like a retard.
