pick him up. thats comparing apples to apples. but, there is something in his "violent delivery" thats says tommy jones surgery to me. but he is just a kid, so your gonna get many useful innings out of him. id pick him up.

ya i figure i could grab a closer off waivers, theres already been guys like betencourt and fuentes who have come out and been productive, im just a huge cubs fan, and my O bench is already stacked with zimmerman and young riding the pine. i truly need an outfielder, thats the thing, this trade came out of nowhere. thanks fro the help man.

gomez or bonderman. bondo is gonna be a whip whale this year, his injury is suposedly still bothering him. you also get some of the sb from braun that you get with gomez... also, corpas is not closing anymore, and hes f in up all over the place. try doing the trade strait up, get rid of corpas.

  • the trade proposed to me is russell martin for my player brian wilson closer for sf. im thinking this is a sell high situation, but heres the thing, i have soto at C. im torn, im a huge cubs fan, but martin is a baller, and i only have 2 other closers besides wilson. should i do it, and pick up a closer later down the road off waivers?

    a rod trade

definitely definitely not. a rod should get you one of the top 3 pitchers at least. try to make a 2 player deal, in my opinion. a rod and one of your worst pitchers for a good batter and a great pitcher.

The trade value you get with weeks is amazing in my opinion. last year, post all star break, he hit 10 of his 16 hr, and in october he stole 10 of his 26 bases, 10 in a month!!! Dude, im high on weeks this year. hes been hurt every offseason, except this one! he was a highly drafted and touted player, and now hes finally healthy, and able to work out and not simply rehab and be super super cautous. and hes batting 1rst or second in a sick sick lineup. im thinking hes gonna have 20 hr, 35 steals, and prolly 110 runs. Dont let his BA scare you, he should hang roight in the middle of the pack 280 or so. batted 300 + in the minors, and hasnt yet really gotten a full season in the majors. i would say him and philips are gonna look very similar by year end.

Your losing maine, and that hurts. thats a serious 15 + games your losing with a good era and whip. if your deep enough i would do it. glaus is prolly gonna out perform durham, but ive heard good things about that guy, even if hes a dinosaur. like i said, if you can spare the pitching, get her done, weeks should be a great player this year

    Pick up Justin Upton???

i would drop rocco baldelli, because of the obvious injury concerns, and because of what ive heard and read. he is healthy, but he plans to be very cautous with himself, and not do much running/stealing. his power potential is so so, so even if he does stay healthy i see a cieling of maybe 20 hr, and i 15 steals, maybe. But im no expert.

I would keep hall, i believe he will be back to 25- 30 hr now that hes back to playing his natural position of 3b. the other 2, is up to you, i would drop sexson because of all the other potential out there at 1b, and drew is in a sweet lineup, could be back to batting 5th or 6th if he shines. both i think will have decent seasons though. Remember though, im no expert, do some google news searches yourself....
