Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

With so many games (and roster spots) it evens out. Not sure how you guys come to the conclusion that it isn't fair. Usually it's not 4-5 more games, but just a couple. And if you're smart enough about drafting you'll know that if you have the better team you're more than happy to have less games on a given week, because you're still going to win. Generally, the difference in games each week will not sway the overall standings if you're doing a standard H2H

ESPECIALLY since it's being done AFTER the fact that everyone knows that D-Will is hurt right now. AND everyone knows that he's always hurt... AND everyone knows he's overrated.

I don't know what everyone is smoking but that is veto-worthy for sure. 4 of the guys in that trade just might not even be worth rostering at all. There is nothing to balance out how much better Paul is over D-Will. Veto that! Seriously.

mmmmm.... that's very borderline to being a bad offer by you. I highly doubt the guy will go for it. Most likely you'll have to throw in one more good player to get it done. Not a guy as good as Parker, but also not someone you got in your last 3 rounds.

Don't be THAT guy that makes #$%$ offers like that. People hate people that make trade offers like that. Seriously. Save yourself the embarrassment and understand that it takes a lot to pry elite talent off of people.

Don't be a sucker. He has to share minutes and is always injured. He is a great option in deep leagues, but a sucker one in standard/shallower formats

Beal has slightly higher upside, especially since he's the sure-fire starter that will log heavy minutes. Thompson is a safe bet for at least 30 minutes, but possibly won't be starter. Beal is the bigger health risk. Roll the dice, because either has a roughly equal chance of doing better than the other because of all those factors.
If you trust Beal to stay healthy then go with him (having him on your team can reap higher rewards). If you want to play it safe, go with Thompson.

Sorry dude. Despite grabbing some nice sleepers, you messed up too much in other places. Should never have drafted D-Will, Evans, and Smith. Bennett is competing for too minutes with too many guys, but could do ok if they stay out. Thomas may not even start. Shumpert is not really all that great, even if he were to start. Waiters is only ok.
You'll probably be middle of the pack, with a possibility of competing for 3rd place. Def not winning unless you make some moves.

No. You actually have a really good roster. Did you get sent that offer? If so, I'd try and rework the deal so you wouldn't have to give up both PGs. Maybe you keep Curry, he keeps George, and you tack on Steve Nash.
Offer Lillard, Cousins and Nash for Love and Vasquez (or preferably a different player than Vasquez that's not too good that he'll reject, but somebody most likely worth rostering... if he has anyone like that)

First, out of curiosity, was this an auction draft?
And this would normally seem like a little bit of a tough call, but you have to keep the Curry side. First, you'd be decimating your PG position, while overstocking on PFs and Centers. Keep your balance going. That alone makes this an easy call. Also, Vasquez has a good chance at being a bust this season. Not to mention that even if he were to get the minutes, he won't be a high-end fantasy option. Then there's the fact that (and I can't believe I'm going to say this) Curry is a safer option at staying healthy than Love.
Also, I think George and Lillard are both overrated assets this season.

Must be a lot of incompetent managers in your league. Will be very embarrassing for you if you don't get first. You need to make a trade for a good SG in order to ensure victory. Danny Green might be a nice fantasy option, but you'll want more from that position probably. You'll probably be fine at PG, but be prepared to have both Kyrie and D-Will get injured at some point. Same goes with Bogut and Bynum for your Center position. Obviously, your Forward positions are set for the season.

Agree with this guy. You fell into the Dwight Howard trap. If you can find a sucker to give you a lot for Howard then you can possibly salvage this team.

Not even close. Sorry, bud. Even if healthy you will struggle in too many ways to contend with a deeper team. You've got Scoring and Rebounding going for you, but everything else ranges from mediocre to dreadful. FT% is awful. FG% and FT% are not looking great, but you may be able to survive there in some weeks. Assists can be decent if healthy, but even if you are healthy you're far from very strong in that category. Howard is your only shot blocker. Westbrook and Holiday can't carry you in steals by themselves. 3s can be decent, but many of them come from your worst players that may be worth dropping at some point in the season if they regress or don't get enough minutes/touches. If you can score some sleepers on waivers then you may be ok.
LeBron/Hayward for Paul George/Thaddeus Young/Enes Kanter/Victor Oladipo
Is the second team giving away too much? This is a H2H league. I think Hayward and Oladipo will both far exceed their draft positions... while Young and Kanter will somewhat exceed theirs.

Your team is fine as is, but definitely some shady stuff going down to have a team like that in a public league. 2 teams? Give up your last few rounders for a guy that doesn't care and he gave you some talent? shaadddyyy

I like winning leagues and being competitive, but it doesn't feel good when playing against people that don't know what they're doing. I have one of the most ridiculous teams you can think of, without it being too absurdly good, but it will be a hollow victory (if I win). I'm more excited for the two custom leagues I'm in with friends and active managers that know what they're doing.
