good question. i run a 10 yr old keeper league that just voted to allow draft pick trades and since i recently traded crawford for a 3rd round pick i'm wondering if we'll be able to manually change the draft order

step 1: make sure you have dudes who are willing to commit LONG-TERM otherwise you'll have chumps who are sick of getting their asses handed to them and they'll quit.

Step 1b: Have some wing dudes in mind in case you fail step 1 b/c you can't re-deal a keeper league

step 2: run a democratic league cuz a successful commish is a commish of the people. inevitably you'll have dudes tugging at your ear (usually all year) with advise on how to improve the league so don't get frustrated. simply table every idea to the league and state that a majority vote wins. (go with 60% or higher).

step 3: have a random live draft and only 3 keepers to start (be sure that goalies aren't too heavily weighted in scoring cats)

step 4: hold the losers responsible for paying the winners. NOT pay you at the beginning and then you pay out at season's end

    step 5: draft a solid goalie 1st

step 6: try to win twice in 5 years like me. Good Luck, Go Sens!!!
