my plan is to try to take R, SB, BB and AVG in hitting and SV BB ERA and WHiP in pitching.
i know several people are expendable so i have been shopping them, Ludwick, Ibanez, Delgado, Cruz...
but i need a better SS. i have faith Burriss will actually be pretty decent in AVG and SB but i would like to have Furcal or Theriot as i think they will be better, perhaps in both areas.
i have gotten offers along the lines of: Furcal for Harden - i don't think i will take it. Harden has the potential to be a top 5 pitcher, if he stays healthy. Furcal can be a top 4 SS, if he stays healthy. but the difference between Furcal and Burriss is not going to be that high as it would be between Harden and someone i get off waivers.
Theriot for Cruz - i like this better as i really don't need Cruz much but he is a fine backup. Theriot will probably be solid AVG wise and steal some bases, score some runs, but enough to justify the lose?
