8 Man Keeper league with standard Roto scoring

cargo, carrasco. In a 8 man league dozier wont be a huge upgrade over any on of the FA. 18 homers 18-23 steals with a low avg isnt very special. Carlos Carrasco might be a top 20 pitcher this year

Price, scherzer was fortunate this season, 146 AVG against his fastball, prior seasons 280ish. completely unsustainable. Fly Ball pitcher as well. I would say over 3.3 era going foward.

Going Into this next season there are always guys who are injured a season earlier and then their ranks going into the season are then affected. But this season its kind of funny on how this ended up happening. Both last year Posey and Mauer were the highest ranked catchers going into the season and they both ended up getting hurt. Now because of their injuries last season and also Mauer's age they have both fallen in the ranks.
Now my question is, who would you rather have/draft?

yea man even catchers like maure vmart posey and mccan wont match or put up the numbers in a regular round 4 or 5 draft pick. dont waste ur time on them. if u can get soto in the 10th great pick cuz (just thinking about it out of the box a little), soto is probobly uk 6th overal or 5th overal AT HIS POSITION so to get a guy at 6th overal at his position in the 10th round is a great pick especialy if u didnt waste an early pick on a catcher that just statisticaly wont do that much better. hope this helps

ok your pitching good but you did take some pitchers with that probably won't have the same year as last year. I do like JA happ good pick. overal ur pitching prty good for a 12 team. good for you.
Ok your hitting(im not trying to make u feel bad or uk put u down im just trying to help u bro all i can) ok now ummm i wont talk about positins at this point but overall u have no power. wit 2 util spots and a full roster u have only 3 guys that will hit u 30 homeruns and 2 guys are 3rd basemen(that means nothing at all im just sayin lol). Now Reynolds might even hit 40 so good pick i would just start him at util just because the extreme lack of average and he wont get that many hits. U got the speed down but i had david last year and he killed me in average and got no hits or many runs just because of his team. Now for the outfield i like markakis i dont like adam jones. i had him last year as well and he really didnt do much of anything at any category. he wont hit that many homers or rbis or really sbs so i mean hes not gonna help u in much of anything. honestly i would see if u could get someone on FA and pick someone up that could get you some power either that or trade for someone cuz thats gonna be hardest for u to win u have 3 guys who will probabl get 100 maby even markakis but with reynolds on the team his job for the rbi man like he was the year before might now happen this year. so go get some power maby even trade a pitcher for power. im just tryin to help u as much as ican man

    Draft Strategy

well first dont draft guys like heyward or upton unless u can get a good deal on them. their both unproven and wasting an early pick on either one if them can cost you alot. second, dont start drafting pitchers till around the 6th 7th round there are just so many guys that fluxiate throughout the year so chossing a a dan harran round 6 or 7 and a tommy hanson round 10 wont be that much of a difference, i actualy perfer hanson myself but thats just me. Ok now for ur question haha, it deppends where your pick is but i lways always try to stay away from picking an outfielder before the 4th round. if you have late pick you might be able to grab votto and wright or votto and alex rodriguez. 2 power hitters arods average was not great but 2 power hiters at 1st and 3rd base will help greatly. also dont get brandon phillips, hes the most overated player on the draft bored. kinsler always gets hurt. other than that hopefuly i was helpful of somesort. just dont take big risks in early rounds, i learned my leason.
