Hey Bjorklund. Experienced, run 4 dynasty leagues now. Looking for an IDP dynasty with significantly boosted IDP scoring (defaults are only about 20-25% of an average top 12 QB). Also, no week 17 playoff games! If you are thinking along those lines too, be great to hear from you: kafka1945 @ yahoo dotcom.

Hope you've been paid by now. If not, as you know, Yahoo cannot help you. Hard to blame them for not wanting any liability or involvement.......so many $$ issues in the private leagues. Pro leagues much better if you wish to play for money. However, you might try applying some pressure through his email providers, aol and Outlook. Maybe they won't get involved either, but maybe they will........ Mr. Fuller is, after all, using those services to commit fraud.

Yeah, good luck with the phone number. I think the policy is, Don't call us, we'll call you. That said, I'm pretty sure they will pay you, even if it's a little late.

I run 4 IDP dynasty leagues, 2014 will be our 2nd season, 30 man rosters, keep either 20 or 25. Very active, enthusiastic leagues, but might have an opening or two. kafka1945 at yahoodotcom.

Chance......hope some of this will be helpful. In 2012, I ran 4 first year dynasty leagues, filled them in normal fashion, ie. publish the draft time, choose the "join" option instead of "apply" and also a post at these boards. By week 5 or 6, we had our share of non-participators and one player who had joined at least 2 leagues with two teams in each league. That ended our dynasty plans for 2013. I shut all 4 down.
So, for 2013, I privately invited only solid, active players from those leagues. Then I posted the draft times choosing the "apply" option. Good IDP dynasty leagues are hard to find, so I got a lot of "applications." Now I could look at profiles. But I was less interested in experience than enthusiasm. So to all applicants, with or without experience, I sent a SCREENING email: will you stay active win or lose, do you like IDPs, please review the settings and policies, will you vote on all trades and all polls, will you respond to all direct emails from Commish, etc. Half or more of the applicants did not reply, so forget them! From the other half, I invited only those with the most enthusiasm.
What a difference! In 4 twelve team leagues, all season, we had to replace a total of only TWO team owners for inactivity/no response. I will still be surprised if we don't need a few replacement owners, but it is possible that we will need none for 2014!
One other small point. Early in last year's season, I tried to encourage all teams to post regularly on the board. Unlike FF addicts like me (!), some of those guys have real lives! One of our players responded this way: "Well Leo, I'm not too big
on chat. I'll do my talking on the field!" Which he did, winning the league Championship. Just the kind of talk we like best!

I think the Yahoo default for keeping any player that that team did not draft, is round one........not the round in which he was actually drafted by the original owner......for what it's worth.

Add/Drops may be executed by all teams throughout the regular season. PLAYOFF teams can continue to add/drop throughout the playoffs. In Commish Tools, Commish can allow or not allow NON-PLAYOFF teams to still have access to add/drops during the playoffs.
In a league with a weekly transaction limit, does a trade count as one of your transactions? For example, if the weekly limit is 5 and you make 5 FA transactions, but also have a trade pending......will the trade fail because 6 transactions? Any help will be appreciated on this!

Thanks for your two cent concern dee. I do not replace owners lightly......and never without due diligence. An owner who does not participate or respond for more than 10 weeks is doing nothing right, with a bad reason or a good reason. Nearly any replacement would be an improvement from the league's perspective.

Unowned Def/ST are available at Players/Defense. Just add the team as normal, drop someone if necessary, and the 2nd Defense team will create a bench slot of its own, right under your bye week team.

Only players who are officially on the IR list will go into an IR slot. Harvin is not on the list, I think he is on the PUP list.

I run 4 dynasty IDP leagues. Looking for a team to rehab. Play hard as nails every week, win or lose! May I look at your settings?
- Alltoohuman Alltoohuman Sep 15, 2013 8:24 AM Flag
Yeah John..........it is almost always a bad idea to change any setting after the draft. If you wish to pursue it anyway, I suggest you propose a poll.........if even one team opposes the change, then don't do it.

Should show as randomized at either League only (not League/Messages) or at League/Transactions. You need that post, but if not, you might try telling the league that if you had custom ordered the draft, then a transaction would appear stating custom not random.

Well, in general, the IDP roster IS the team defense. Most IDP leagues do not also have a team defense (or should not). But in your case, since you only have 3 IDPs, it's probably ok.
