one more frustrating thing is that before you could pull up the team page and there was a drop down box to go to the next team to see rosters, schedules, etc. now you have to back out of each page back to the sports home and start over with each team you want to see. to compound the problem even more the new yahoo homepage freezes sometimes when you try to back page and you have to close out the whole window to start over again. this problem is more frequent on internet explorer than on google. I understand that they need to improve things but get a beta test group together to trouble shoot the issues first.
I want to pick up conacher but I have to decide between dropping heatley or doan. I looked and doan is slated to be the #2 rw and heatley is listed outside the top 5 lines but they are projected to put up comparable #'s. heatley has the rep but doan is going to get more ice time so i'm not sure which way to go here. any advice?

a few questions. not to burst your bubble but if everyone is not required to play each week how are they eligible to be in the year end pot. if I play only 1 or 2 weeks it s not fair to anyone else who has payed into it all season. how long have you been doing this and how are the payouts handled? lastly, is every single players picks going to be posted for all to see to make sure the payouts are correct? just a few thoughts that came to me in a minute. I love the idea but if you don't have a website set up (legally) it's very hard to do. I have thought doing this and other things for years but even if you set up a site the government is always watching.

personally I think pead is going to be there if you need him. obviously if you hear d-rich got hurt you would have to act quick but even in that scenario I think zac stacy would be next man up. good luck
i'm in an auction league and we have the option to trade draft picks. i'n not sure how that works and apparently no one else in the league does either. my questions is this, since it is an auction league and technically there are are no rounds, how would you benefit from this option? does the person getting the better draft position just simply nominate someone at that turn or do they get the player that you win at that correlating draft position as it is to your team?
for example if I trade my fourth pick for another team's first pick next season and that team buys doug martin for 60 with his first but the drafts 3rd player bought, and I don't use my fourth purchase till the 42 player picked and I get garcon at 19 is that really fair?
my thinking is that yahoo should block draft pick trades in auction drafts unless there is another way this works that I am not seeing.
any info appreciated.

you don't say which end of trade is yours but easily the side that gets kunitz is the winner. he is projected to be a top 35 player in this short season while all 3 of the other player are ranked 287 or lower.

1st, both of your guys are ranked higher and therefore are worth more than the return. while i don't put everything on rankings the major considerationis is how many goalies do you start daily. if it is more than 1 you should carry 3 goalies in order to better your chances of having at least 1 starting per day. while koivu would be a decent upgrade specifically for LW, i would try to package stalberg and read for a decent 2 position player or drop them outright if there are better waiver options.

1st you never said who your other RW or other fowards are to determine if if he was expendable. next, reimer is still a free agent in my league which indicates that he isn't even a wanted goalie. lastly, daniel is still projected to have a solid season this year. so i think it was a bad trade.

price. from a stats standpoint fleury will dominate in the wins category by far and it would be too close to call for GAA. because of his age and reflexes i think price should win the shutout stat which hardly comes into play. as far as the saves, shots against, and save %, price will easily win those because he will face more shots per game. since yahoo leagues only have 4 goalie catagories it would be 2+ for price over 1 for fleury. plus price is already ranked higher therefore a better trade value.

if it were me, i'd keep kessel and toews. toews is the only one with steady projections going forward and the only one with a projected positive +/-. while staal's numbers give him a slight edge over kessel, it is easier to pick up stats at center or LW than at RW and kessel is the only RW with comparable stats.
