    team A or B

    by acb 13 hours ago

    aj green out 4-5 weeks?

  • through a pair of trades I can pick up Jeffrey, Cooks, J Thomas, J Gordon and move out AJ Green R White, Tony Romo, Rudolph

    Team A
    qb: P Manning
    wr: Green
    wr: Nelson
    wr: White
    rb: Stacy
    rb: Sproles
    te: Rudolph
    flex: bradshaw

    Team B
    qb: P Manning
    wr: Nelson
    wr: Jeffrey
    wr: Cooks
    rb: Stacy
    rb: Sproles
    te: J Thomas
    flex: bradshaw

I have zero depth at wr either way, but team B at least has Gordon waiting in the wings.

  • I can make a pair of trades that will change my roster quite a bit. Which team is better in your opinion? .5ppr 6pt/passing td

    qb: P Manning
    wr: J Nelson
    wr: AJ Green
    wr: R White
    rb: Z Stacy
    rb: Sproles
    te: Rudolph
    flex: Bradshaw

    qb: P Manning
    wr: Nelson
    wr: A Jeffrey
    wr: B Cooks
    rb: Stacy
    rb: Sproles
    te: J Thomas
    flex: Bradshaw

So losing Green/White/Rudolph and adding Jeffrey/Cooks/J Thomas

    thanks
i wouldnt worry about bye week guys until your bye week. if theres a guy out there worth owning because hes good thats one thing, but if you dont intend to play him until a certain week then just wait til then.

yeah i think rudolph has upside and so does romo. might offer him gronk/j gordon and see if hell package romo/rudolph/j reed just for some more upside.

    PICK UP..Niles,Ridly,A bradshaw

    by Danny 21 hours ago

bradshaw for sure. ridlys usage imo was not something you should expect going forward. not saying it wont happen again, but he didnt push vereen aside because hes the better back, only because the game plan happened to require it.
bradshaw got work this week because he looked better than trich last week, and looked better than him again this week. he is much better in the passing game too.

    Marshall Trade

    by Darin Sep 16, 2014 11:32 AM

i have marshall in ppr, i wouldnt move him for less than rodgers/brees/stafford, or if its wilson than id have to get someone like sproles or vereen with it.

  • I lost griffin and have no back up...waiver is barren.
    Its a 6pt/passing td league

    was offered Romo/Rudolph for Gronkowski.
Guy also has J Reed waiting.
I'd be selling gronk low but buying romo low too, but can i start rudolph going forward with confidence?

    Thanks

    traded vereen for josh gordon

    by datsyuk Sep 15, 2014 3:18 PM

dude this didnt make any sense at all.
vereens bad game was not a common thing. you dont need Gordon. your wrs are rediculous.
so you traded a very valuable rb for a bench warmer for the next 9 weeks.
ive got vereen and gordon in my league, but if someone offered me vereen for gordon i would do cartwheels.

jouique bell is the only guy left that i would want to start out of your rbs. martins hurt. dont want anything to do with bmores backfield, and terrance west is a flex play at best and thats until tate comes back.

and i really dont understand the logic of IF you make the playoffs youll start cj,/ jones / gordon...and bench brown?

you made a big mistake imo. if i were you i would try and move brown and decker to a team that is desperate for wrs and try to get like a brandin cooks / zac stacy type of thing. buy low on another wr and try to get a wr3 for the time being.

  • Having a rough time of it so far.
    Roster

    qb Brees, Cutler
    wr Hilton
    wr Maclin
    wr Crabtree
    rb Charles
    rb Martin
    te Gronk
    flex G Jennings
bench: d williams, mjd, dwayne bowe, boykin, Bennett

Was offered Garcon/Gerhart/Terrance Williams for Brees/Boykin
I can plug Cutler in at qb and be pretty good there, and garcon/gerhart/t wiliams all have good upside and could potentially fill some holes along my roster.
    Would you make this trade/counter?

    10 games

    by Matt Sep 12, 2014 4:38 PM

have been so confused as to why if its 10 games he wouldnt be back til week 12...but i realize its actualy games not just 10 weeks, so the bye doesnt count...im a dumbie.

im guessing he will just take what he can get...he still has the dui thing to deal with down the road, his best bet is to stay quiet and keep his nose clean and play well.

    Adrian Peterson

    by Mike Sep 12, 2014 6:19 PM

yeah be careful publicizing your opinion on why one of these is worse than the other. the details of this, while unofficial, are a little disturbing. peterson appartently likes to "whoop" his kids, has a "whooping" room, and reportedly beat this kid to the point of "open wounds"...thats a 4 year old...beaten to open wounds. thats REALLY DANGEROUS. you have to lack some serious self control to beat what society considers to be a "preschooler" by urban definition.

personally i found it pretty strange last year when peterson seemed to have so little public reaction to the death of one of his other children. i dont know what his reaction was off the field, and im not accusing him of "not caring" or anything, but he played in a football game right after it happened...that was odd imo.

Trade J. Charles for B. Marshall? PPR

    by Nope Sep 13, 2014 9:17 AM

thumbs down probly because you shouldnt have to ask this. its the #1 drafted player for the #5 wr, you just accept it and wait to see if the league allows it. while its not "collusion" bad its not a fair trade.
when gordon comes back you'll have a silly rb/wr roster...qb and te are another story so far.

yeah i agree. if i desperately need the help ill package him after a couple weeks and can probably get good value in a keeper league.

just as big of a question is, how quickly will he make an impact when hes back?
thats a long time to be away from the team, he probably wont come right in and be dominant.
i know he did last year, but he wasnt away from the team for 10 weeks.

yeah 10 is more than I was expecting, but its not a total shocker.
it will be hard to keep someone for 9 more weeks taking up a roster spot but like Tam and scooterninja said, there is no reason to just drop him until you cant afford to hold him anymore.
and even then, unless there is a zac stacy or ellington type from last year on fa you can probably get more by trading him by then than whatever the value of a flier would be.
i wont drop him unless there is someone out there that will def start for me and make a difference.

my league is also a keeper, and i took gordon in the 11th so he is well worth trying to hang onto.
