Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

I'm trade happy and my team stinks so I'm more apt to make deals, but you're right. I've had a couple people tell me they really like the first deal, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Update: I've been offered this deal.
Stanton (2nd of three years)
Billy Hamilton (1st)
3rd round pick
H. Street (1st)
2nd round pick
I like this deal a lot more. What do y'all think? He'll pick at the top of round 2 instead of round 1 so a solid player will still be available.

Thus far, he's just rejected it re-offering this deal saying it's a fair deal...which makes me feel like it's not that good. I just feel like I'm taking all the risk here for the reward of a bottom 5 first round pick (which is still a good player).

Because he seems to get hurt every year. I don't like the trade for Bob because Doz certainly won't perform as well as the first six weeks. But he does improve your 2b perhaps more than your 3b loses.... I play risky so I would probably end up taking it :/
10 man keep 6 keeper league, in which after a third season the, the player enters the draft pool. I've historically done quite terrible in this league, so I have no confidence in my decisions here. I was proposed a trade that goes like this:
Stanton (2nd year player)
Kuechel (1st year player)
3rd round pick next year
Blackmon (1st year player)
Verlander (1st year player)
1st round pick next year
Thoughts? He started by asking for Greinke, I told him no way to that, but came back with this. Everything I've offered him, he's countered with this deal. I don't like it, although another first rounder next year will be nice! Here are the guys that'll be available: Kershaw, Sale, Trout, Cano, Darvish, McCutchen, Darvish, King Felix, Tulo, and Stras.
Update, he's rejected all counters to this. This is the only deal he will take. I'm leaning towards no. Correct call in your opinion?
