We have a Dynasty League where you can keep all your players and a two round draft to pick up rookies every year. Managers have to drop players of their choice to make roster space the incoming draft picks.

How to start a keeper league

I'm in the second year of a keeper league and still working out things as the commish, but there are some things you want to do before hand, and it mostly has to do with communication. Tell people from the start it is a keeper league and tell them how many keepers they can have. The league we started last year is a Dynasty league, which means you can keep all your players from year to year. They will have to drop players before the draft the following year to create roster space, but other than that they can keep everyone. As the commish the first year I think all you had to do was check a box that said enable keeper settings. One of the great things about keeper/dynasty leagues is that you can trade draft picks, but you will probably have to decide before hand how many rounds you want to have. Since we can keep our entire roster we are only doing a 2 round draft this year. When we started up this year, all I had to do was check the box that said import teams from last year. I would definitely recommend being a commish of a redraft league to get some experience before you become commish of a keeper league. There is a lot of planning you have to do beforehand and if you don't have the experience you will miss a lot of details.
