Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

The thing is, I offered Kemp to the Pujols owner and thought it was a fair enough deal and filled need on both sides. The same day, he accepted the Moss/Wilson offer for Pujols. If he doesn't like either offer, that's fine, it just seems strange to me that if he wants to move Pujols, he takes the worse deal. Maybe they're just all stupid.

In a 20 teams league, would you rather trade Pujols for...
Kemp straight up or
Brandon Moss & C.J. Wilson -
Probably not, but its worth a shot.
-
I don't think you get credit for a CG in a rain shortened game.
-
I noticed this as well. I had a hold and my opponent has Zito who got blew up and neither are showing.

Taveras will not have a starting job this year in STL unless about 3 regulars get injured. They just don't have room for him right now. He'll get a late season call up for sure to give him a taste, and it's doubtful that he gets traded at this point. Unless he#$%$ .400 at AAA (currently .412 thru 5 games) those are the only ways he's getting to the majors this year.

I'd just drop Seager for Carpenter. With all his eligible positions 1B, 3B, OF, and coming soon 2B, he's fantasy gold as a bench player since he can fill in almost anywhere.
-
I know in the past I've had offers out to trade a player and then got a different offer for the same player from someone else. I had to wait out the first before I could act on the second. In such an event though I would contact the 2nd offer just to let him know I was waiting.

How many more games until Carpenter 2B eligible? Rickie Weeks blows.
by Colin Apr 13, 2013 7:43 PM10 games played or 5 starts. Under the player listings you can search him under position eligibility and see what he has left. I know he's pretty close on both.

Yep, Morse. For as nice of a ballplayer that Markakis is on the field, for some reason what he does is virtually useless in the fantasy baseball world. He just doesn't do anything spectacular, he hits for average and that's about it.
-
I would do the trade. You could use another starter and have Konerko to play 1B. In a 10 team league there should be plenty of #$%$ 3B to replace your #$%$ 3B so I think you get the better end of the deal.
-
I guess it's done so it doesn't really matter, I was just curious.
-
Anyone else? I think A is better at the top, but B is a little more solid top to bottom.

Here are two different draft scenarios for rounds 1-17 of a 10 team H2H league (R, 2B, HR, RBI, SB, OPS & W, S, K, ERA, WHIP, K/9). Ignoring draft position, keepers, rankings, etc., which do you think is the better overall team. For the sake of argument, lets just assume that remaining needed positions (SP on one, RP on the other, reserves on both) will be filled in during the later rounds, these players will fill the starting roster.
Team A:
C - Montero 1B - AGonz & F Freeman 2B - R Weeks 3B - D Wright SS E Andrus
OF - Trout, Braun, B.J. Upton
SP - D Price, C Hamels, J Johnson, D Fister, J Niese, M Minor
RP - Kimbrel, Rivera
Team B:
C - VMart, 1B - Votto & Encarnacion, 2B - I Kinsler, 3B - M Moustakas SS - S Castro
OF - Trout, AGonz, Ellsbury
SP - Verlander, Latos, Shields, Peavy, B Anderson
RP - Kimbrel, G Holland, J Hanrahan
Of these two choices, which team would you rather have?
