Because the TEAM is granted a point for an OT loss, not a player or goalie...therefore its left off of Yahoo fantasy. Think of it this way.......how/who would you credit the winning goal in a shootout? Its not like "sudden death".

IF...and a bIG if.....this is a dynasty league and each team enters 30 keepers...and you approve them after the keeper deadline...then when you "autodraft" all the keepers are filled in....however its actually easier to do an off-line draft at that point...and avoid any Yahoo problems whatsoever.
Now if your keeping LESS than 30, less than the full roster....when you set the draft order the keepers should AUTOMATICALLY fall into the earlier rounds....again this depends if you correctly finalized the league and approved the keepers after setting a keeper deadline. A keeper deadline should be a full day before your draft.
TBH David, them CC peeps are usually the last to know, not that they DON'T care, its just they are busy doing their jobs on other services, they don't get the message its open until it does.
Nah, the info was out there....and the Yahoo guys told me this morning it was ready. But, like I said....haters gonna hate....
As far as I know, the ONLY way(s) are 1) Have the banned player create another Yahoo ID and join using the new one or......2) Creating a NEW league, mirroring the old one....and NOT connecting league history to it.

Not using the live draft no, if you have specific positions you want drafted in certain rounds, you're much better off trying a off-line draft then inputting the results. In a live draft, participants can draft any position they choose.

I hear ya Jim, if ya want a good laugh look at how I'm being skewered on the Commissioner hockey board. I just laugh it off. My goal is always to help people, and when you tell them the answer they don't want to hear......ya get skewered!

No Chad, the way Yahoo works is if you hold an on-line draft, each participant must be logged on to a PC/phone/tablet to participate.....or their team will be auto-picked. If you have 8 of 12 present in a single location, you may be better served to hold an off-line draft......have those with devices NOT present message or e-mail you their picks...have the ones present pick normally. Then transfer the results to your league through Commissioner tools. There is no way to really hybrid between the two.

The displayed draft time for you is going to reflect YOUR profile settings.....when you signed up for yahoo if you didn't specify a time zone.....the default is Pacific time. To CHANGE it.......
1) Highlight the "cog wheel" in the top black bar all the way on the right, click on Account Info.
2) This is your Yahoo profile, purple bar on the left, click on Preferences.
3) From the Preferences menu , click on Locations and languages
4) From here, you can either enter your current zip code OR on the right of Current location, you can have Yahoo "Detect your location". Leaving the site saves the changes, however you MUST log off of Yahoo and back on to see the changes appear on your fantasy pages.

Just to expand on what Mike is saying, you'll need to keep track of off-season trades and draft pick exchanges yourself.....then transfer these changes when you set-up the draft. Keep in mind Yahoo wont allow unequal sized rosters......the number of picks for all teams must remain the same.

I may be shooting in the dark here....but if your league is set to auto-renew....most of those team settings wouldn't be active anyway, right! With auto-renew, all last seasons members are already in....no need to invite....you didn't have a draft......so no rosters to edit. Check to see if the league is finalized....toggle it back and forth to see if some of the options open & close for you. If you are looking to expand your league....hence wanting to invite.....you'll need to change the league settings and increase the # of max teams. And don't use safari browser....
