Got a few openings for this ultra-cool keeper league, keep 16 players year to year. our stat categories are heavy on talented/skill type players, although you can still have meatheads if you want (PIM category). All type of players are valuable to teams in this realistic set-up. (example: defencemen are now a lot more valuable since we include blocked shots and hits as categories). This requires more adept strategizing, but also features more player depth with this format and categories set up as they are. We will set up a 6-player minor league roster in season. ...We are all baseball savvy - that is we know who Wally Pipp is type baseball fans. All of us have fantasy pool experience. Our whole thing is this is a hobby-like, fun team you create and build from scratch and keep forever and ever, with lots of lively banter. We want it to be as realistic to being team owners as possible which is why we have 25-man rosters. We'll have a worst to first (lottery for bottom 4 teams) minor leaguer draft each year. We'll have 3 additional minor league positions on each team.
Here's our spiel: authentic keeper 6x6 roto league... ....we're looking for true active baseball-savvy owners. Full 25 man roster - this format offers more trade and strategy possibilities since it now includes all types of players like middle relievers and line-drive hitters with high average - not just big K-starters/closers or power hitters, although they are still very valuable obviously. This will be your team from year to year to year. You keep all your players from year to year.

gotta a nicely-designed league ready for active, competitive owners, offering a bit more than average leagues - for better, more advanced strategizing - like an extra counting center position since there are many more players listed at center position in the NHL. It helps if you are experienced, a bit of a hockey nut and bring a good attitude for fairness and season-long contributing. contact me (Steve) at spindodger@yahoo.com. In an ideal keeper-type league, either H2H or Rotisserie: Hoping for 20-24 man roster size, possibly with minor league team, keeping at least 1/2 that number. Stat categories I like: obvious ones 6x6 are best (or how about one for blocked shots and/or hits which would be good as they make defencemen and grinders more valuable). Full 25 man roster - this format will offer more trade and strategy possibilities since it now includes all types of players like middle relievers and Wade Boggs-type hitters (without the steroids though) - not just big K-starters/closers or power hitters. This will be your team from year to year to year. We will do the Yahoo auto draft to start, then go with the yahoo waiver list from then on. In future we can perhaps add a 3 round prospect draft and add non-counting prospect positions to each team...to be discussed. Roster counters are by position, incl. DH.
