  • I have a pretty solid lineup in my H2H league, but I'm thinking I could use some SB. Scoring categories: R, 2B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, Avg, OPS. Lineup: Montero (C), Votto (1B), Phillips (2B), Tulo (SS), Longoria (3B), J. Upton (LF), Jackson (CF), Trumbo (RF), Fowler (Util). Should I drop Phillips and pick up Dee Gordon? Drop another player for Gordon? Or stand pat with what I have, will win enough other categories without additional SB? Thanks in advance

Matt Carpenter & Peter Bourjos Questions

I live in St. Louis and can tell you Carp is legit. The dude is a hitter. Mgr Matheny is keeping him in the lineup at either 3B (more playing time than David Freese, even with Freese back from injury!) or 2B. 90 runs is not out of the question, he hits a ton of doubles.

  • Ryan Doumit is my current C, struggling out of the gate. Evan Gattis is availabe in my H2H keeper league. Is Gattis for real long term (and what happens to his playing time when McCann returns?)? Should I stick with Doumit or take a chance with Gattis? Thanks in advance.

    Better Keeper OF?

    Hamilton when he's healthy.

  • I'm in a 16 team H2H keeper league. Pitching categories for SP are App, IP, W, ERA, WHIP and K/9. I drafted Derek Holland on his keeper potential, but he has been struggling and is killing my ERA/WHIP. His K/9 is also regressing. I know that young, hard-throwing left handers are a great commodity to have (I stuck with Clayton Kershaw and now he's one of my aces). Should I stay the course with Holland? Some SP available in my league are Rich Harden, Juan Nicasio and Rubby De La Rosa. Thanks in advance for your insight.

  • I am in a 16 team H2H keeper league. Offensive categories are R, 2B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, TB and AVG. Shin-Soo Choo is my RF, but Domonic Brown is available in the free agent pool (surprising in a keeper league!). Choo has been a very productive player for me the last couple of years, but can't seem to get on track this year. Going forward who do you think would give me the most production in the above offensive categories? Choo or Brown? Thanks in advance.

    Choo or Domonic Brown?

I could roster both, but I use my bench positions for starting pitchers, and our outfielders are position specific (LF,CF,RF).

  • I'm in a H2H keeper league. Outfield is position specific (LF,CF,RF). My lineup is pretty solid except for LF. I have the streaky Jonny Gomes. Offensive categories are R,2B,HR,RBI,SB,BB,TB,AVG. I'm good in the SB category.

Need a consistant LF producer going forward, who will help in the power categories (2B,HR,RBI), but will hit for decent AVG as well. Left Fielders I've been considering that are available in my league are Ben Francisco and Matt Joyce. Should I make the move for either player or just keep Gomes?

Any advise, insight, suggestions will be most appreciated. If I've overlooked a sleeper/keeper type LF, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance

Should I Trade A Goaltender? Help!

Should I Trade A Goaltender? Help!

I should have been a bit more specific in my league's goaltender categories. I understand what you're saying about SV% and GAA. Our categories are Wins, SV%, Saves, GAA and SHO. With my three goalies I lead the league in Wins and Saves. If I trade a goaltender for offensive help of course my Wins and Saves would go down. Would adding a Ryan Kesler be worth potentially sacrificing some category wins in W/SVS?

  • I play in a deep 16 team head-to-head keeper league. I have three top goaltenders (Luongo, Bryzgalov, Pavelec), who pretty much carry my team. I'm short on offense/power play strength. My team will most likely make the playoffs (I'm in 6th place, with the top 8 teams making the playoffs). A manager who's team is in last place is offering Ryan Kesler for a top-tier goaltender. Should I trade one of mine? If so which one? Can I win the playoffs with just two goaltenders? Any advise is welcome. Thanks.
