    Z.Randolph & Faried for Ibaka?

I would not. This would severely cripple your rebounding. If you are concerned about field goal %, drop Adams and pick up Brandan Wright if he is available.

I like Wroten a wee bit more than Fournier and alot more than the other guys. He has a terrible shooting %, but so does Fournier. Wroten gets you more assists than Fournier but they seem to be pretty close in points. Having 4 guys that can play sg, you should be fine in that position.

    Mega Deal

    by Larfboy Nov 24, 2014 5:56 PM
Steve Steve Nov 24, 2014 7:52 PM Flag

Yes, yes, yes. Get it done now. Ty is injury prone and will miss more time sometime this year. Rose I wouldnt touch if I just had to give a 12th round pick for. When will he play? How much? Too many negative questions with him. Chandler is solid but if DeAndre gets back to last years DeAndre, there really isnt a comparison. DeAndre is still 2nd in rebounds this year and Chandler tends to miss time during the year as well. Steph is worth way, way, way more than Ty and Rose right now. I take Steph and DeAndre.

Deandre Jordan & Bogut for Noah. Vetoable trade?

    by K P Nov 23, 2014 6:32 PM
Steve Steve Nov 23, 2014 8:45 PM Flag

Well, Noah can give you the assists of a lower tiered pg, so with the way Deandre hasnt been all that for most of the season, I can see it. I dont know about Boguts stats, but with his injury history, how valuable is he as a trade asset? Eh. I dont think its as bad as it looks on the surface. To get what you want, sometimes you have to give up a bit more anyway. Questionable but not vetoable imo.

    Trade drummond for Kyrie?

    by Rex Nov 23, 2014 4:51 PM
Steve Steve Nov 23, 2014 8:38 PM Flag

If Drummond can get right and play like he did last year, he is more valuable to a team than Kyrie. Not close to the halfway point of the season, Drummond has plenty of time to get right. On the flip side, The Cavs have a bad ending to the season playing only 2 games in two of the weeks when fantasy basketball playoffs will be taking place. Having Kyrie only play 2 games a week for you could hurt you should you make it to the playoffs. At some point, I can see Lebron just taking over anyway so that cant help Kyries value. Id keep Drummond.

Unless we find out Wade or Norris Cole are going to miss a month or more, I dont think he is worth picking up over those players.

Nowitzki and D Howard Trade help

Steve Steve Nov 18, 2014 8:01 PM Flag

Heres my thinking. Dirk doesnt always hit a 3 a game. He gets no more than 3 a game. Its usually 1 or 2 a game. Say they play 3 games a week and in 1 or 2 of those Dirk doesnt hit a 3, thats where I get my rounding of 2-8. They may play 4 games and Dirk gets 2 a game. Thats is 8. Many different calculations there. I dont think Dirk helps enough in the 3s category to win that cat. but every so often. As for the ft%, Im not a fan of maybes. Theres alot of good ft shooters in the league, so that maybe winning isnt good enough for me when we are talking having a player like Dwight Howard. Id much rather have a strong big man foundation than have a maybe at the charity stripe. Even having Anthony Davis doesnt always mean you are strong enough to win blocks and rebounds. Anyway, Jun is in 1st place, winning most of his matchups at about 6 to 3 and so if it aint broke, dont try to fix it.

Drop Amir for Ed Davis if hes available or Dieng. Dont drop Barnes for Kaman. Kamans productivity wont last long.

Im not certain that with Dirks help, you would consistently win the 3 category each week. Is 2 -8 3s a week extra enough to win it? Same goes for TO and FT%. Dirk will help you but will he help you win those most every week? You may have to crunch some numbers and look at previous weeks fantasy matches to find out. Having Anthony Davis makes it an easier decision, but I think Id stick with Howard.

Well, you may still win your 3s category with Klay and Korver so I think its just your assists cat. that will hurt. You look thin on bigs so I would get Davis.

    Trading Dragic

by As Real As It Gets Nov 15, 2014 4:15 PM
Steve Steve Nov 16, 2014 4:19 PM Flag

It depends on who youd drop to fill a roster spot and if you will lose assists by losing Dragic. It looks like Fournier will not be taking a back seat to Elfrid Payton, at least according to Saturday nights game. So this is a gamble for you depending on if Fournier keeps the starting job. If he does keep it, you win this deal. Between Deng and Fournier, they will surely at least equal Dragics assists, and I think thats all that Dragic could have over those 2 is the assists. If Fournier keeps the starting gig, I think you win this deal hands down. Maybe you could wait until the next Magic game to decide and hope the guy doesnt rescind the deal.

If you need the rebounding and Center help, then get him. If you need that 1-2 steals and 1-2 blocks he gives you, keep Johnson. If not keep Diaw.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Noone couldve predicted this to happen to Westbrook. Hopefully he will be back in 2 or 3 weeks. Hes worth the 7th pick and should take minimal time to get back to normal. You arent the only one in the Westbrook boat. Drummond should more than likely come around to what he was last year. Its too early to panic and write him off. Maybe Cousins is the better choice over Aldridge, but you have nothing to hang your head over in drafting Aldridge. Your first 3 picks were darned good picks.

    Pick up Beverley?

Steve Steve Nov 15, 2014 4:10 PM Flag

I had Rubio on 4 of my 6 teams. I dropped him on every one and no takers. It could work against me, but Im betting on that strategy working out for me. I wouldnt do that with Durant or Westbrook, but I think Rubio is worth the risk. Just pick him back up in December and lose a little bit of time with him instead of the whole 2 months.

If it was 12 teams, Id say no, but with 16 teams go for it. Jones has maybe another 4-6 weeks of good usage, so Id roll with him until Durant comes back. Marvin doesnt have much usage for The Hornets so Id drop him for Hill.
