Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I was wondering who I should start at me RB2 spot this week. We get 1 pt per 10 yards rushing or receiving, and we also get 1pt per reception. I am leaning towards Forte due to his ability to catch balls out of the backfield, but not sure how much he will be splitting the workload. So I was not sure if possible heavier workload for Gordon or Michael is something I should consider? Forte vs. Cincy, Gordon @ KC, and Michael Vs. Miami

I would lean towards Floyd due to the non-rookie factor. It is hard to trust a rookie week one until you know how they fit into the offense and do not make a lot of mistakes. We know how Floyd fits in a pass heavy, up tempo offense in Arizona.

I would say Allen because San Diego has a very tough matchup at KC this week.....I do believe I read that Rivers did not two a TD pass against KC last year......I know this is a new year, but KC is still a solid DEF. I think Luck wants to come out an prove something since he is healthy this year. Also, Allen does not have to share snaps with Fleener anymore.

I would saw Ware for sure because he is the starter with Charles out.......I would lead towards Forte since Sims is the second back in TB. Also, Forte does get receptions out of the backfield.....honestly not sure how much Sims is involved in the passing game though

do you have anyone else you could drop? I would be hesitant to drop Ivory so fast since he is the bigger back than Yeldon in JAX so he could get more TD looks.

I would say you have to start Jordy for two reasons......he was your #2 pick and he IS Rodgers' go to guy. I think he will be a big factor despite not playing the pre-season. I would maybe look at taking Crabtree out for Foster if you are looking to make a change. Foster is THE GUY this week since is back-up (AJayi) did not even travel to Seattle. Is this a points per reception and/or rush league? I understand not playing Foster yet to see if he is still durable......but he will get a big load this week. Crabtree has a healthy Cooper to compete with this week.

NY Jets interior defense is tough.....Riddick does get a lot of boost with the receptions out of the backfield......Detroit may be playing catch-up all day against the Colts so Riddick will be probably in more......it is a flip of a coin, but my gut is saying to go with Hill because we know he will be used regularly. Riddick is a wildcard that probably has the hire Boom factor, but he also has the high Bust factor

Even though Michael has not proven himself yet even after all of the hype last year he is in a much more stable situation. He also has the better offense so I would go with Michael. LA will looking to stop the run and force San Fran to try and win through the air

I would say Yeldon because I do not trust Hyde on a Team that is doing a complete rebuild. Jax will probably be playing catch up and that means Yeldon getting involved in the passing game more

Thanks.....I will stick with my gut and stick with Forte....just worried about the match-up and workload situation. I honestly see good things from Gordon at some point this season due to him having a year under his belt now and getting to train with Adrain Peterson this offseason.......just week 1 against KC is probably not going to let it happen! lol
Jeremy Hill Vs Pitts, Darren Sproles @ Chi, Crabtree Vs. Atl, Will Fuller Vs. KC, or Tyrell Williams Vs Jax. I do have Rivers as my QB and we do get points per Rush AND Reception. Standard break down of 1pt per 10yards receiving or rushing. I am thinking of leaning towards Sproles @ Chicago due to that defense being vulnerable to pass catching RBs.

I would say Woodhead, Blount, Hyde for my rankings with point potential. If you want to exploit the PPR then Woodhead would be your guy, but Blount will get the majority of the rushes and be a TD threat. I would try and shy away fromm Carolina at home with that Defense they have.

I actually get points for rushing and receiving so I was not sure if Sproles would give me a better threat option. Hill was only successful last week due to his TD, and Pitts is another tough defense to play against.

I have yet to see Graham do much for Seattle since he was traded to them.....Cook may not be the best option, but I believe Rodgers likes him more and he was targeted a few times last week. I would look to see what Minny gave up to the TE last week and go from there. I give a slight nod to Cook due to the him having the healthy QB and being a part of the game plan a little more than Graham in Seattle.
