  • I have one keeper left to designate, and I was wondering who it should be. I am trying to choose between Tulo, Miguel Sano, and Kyle Schwarber. I am leaning more towards Schwarber because of the power potential from the catcher position, but Tulo has been one of the best SS the last few years. Of course Tulo is no longer in Colorado so I fear his power numbers will not be the same. The rest of my keepers are as follow: Trout, Stanton, Rizzo, K. Bryant, Dee Gordon, deGrom, and King Felix. The league itself is a Head to Head league consisting of 10 teams. The starting positions are consistent with a public league. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank You

  • Hey, I am looking for 3 people to replace players not returning to a league I run. We have been playing this league for 5+ years, and it is a 8 player, head to head, keeper league. Here is the roster set-up, batter points, and pitching points break down.

Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL, NA

Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Strikeouts (K), Batting Average (AVG), On-base + Slugging Percentage (OPS), Extra Base Hits (XBH)

Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Losses (L), Saves (SV), Walks (BB), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Quality Starts (QS)

If anyone is interested please reply with your email and I can send you the rosters. Thanks

I would say Robinson due to his workload and the play of Atlanta the last several weeks

Yeah, basically it is a roll of the dice trusting you made the right decision......just sucks when that much money is on the line!!!

I would still go with Forte despite him sharing snaps. Forte still has a chance to get a TD and/or decent yards for you. Gordon has been a non-factor all year.

I am leaning toward Randle since Carolina is going to be focusing a lot on Beckham. I believe Brown has the most upside, but do not quite trust him with Seattle using the "Play who is hot" approach until Lynch is back. Matthews would be my 3rd option because he is the go to WR in Philly, but Arizona has a good Defense. Hope that helps

    Which RB wud you start?

I would say Williams. He has been a focal point of that offense since Bell went down for injury. I would not trust anyone from Atlanta right now with how bad they have been playing. Jacksonville is not as much of a push over as they have been in the past few years.

    Choose 1 RB???

My gut says Robinson, but be cautious about how well Bortles has been playing lately. They may use their passing game much more since he has been throwing well. I would still trust Robinson more due to Hightower only having one game under his belt and Allen having a really back matchup

  • I am in a league where pts are 1pt per 10yrds rush/rec, 6 pts for a TD, and 2 pts for +40 yd rec/rush TD. I figured McCoy is a lock in to start due to his recent surge over the last few weeks. I am on the fence with West and Hightower......If Spencer Ware is sitting today I figure West would be the guy because he will get most of the touches. I am on quite sold on Hightower because it has been reported he will not be running as much this week and we only have on game to reference for consistency. As for Whittaker and White, I am worried that Tolbert and Bolden respectively will eat into their touches too much. What does everyone think?

Side note: I do have Cam and Olsen already playing so that is another factor for not playing Whittaker. Basically picked him up to block other teams from getting him....

I would say you have to go with Brown. Seattle will shut down the run @ home against cleveland

    WR Troubles.....

I agree with Tam's list. Hilton is the 4th WR for this list so if Hurns' status happens to change I would plug him in. I just do not trust an old an injured Hasselback throwing to Hilton.

  • I am torn about playing Fitz tonight since he has not been quite as good since his hot start. He has been consistent, but not really putting up too many double digit point games lately. I am in a NON-PPR league where we get 1pt/10 yds, 6 pts per TD, and a bonus 2 pts for a +40 TD reception. My other WR options are:
Alshon Jeffery vs WAS - figured starter
Danny Amendola @ HOU - figured starter
    Vincent Jackson vs NO
    Brandon LaFell @ HOU
    Devin Funchess vs ATL

The only other option I am seeing is V Jax since he has a good match-up. Just worried that tonight could be a night where Fitz goes off again even though I have a feeling it won't happen......

    Pick 3 RBs

Sorry, I did not realize it said pick 3......I would say Anderson and Blount are a flip of a coin. Blount has more TD potential when they get down in the redzone, but Anderson has a team wanting to run the ball first. Something tells me Blount will have a better game since Anderson has not really shown up at all yet this year.

I would say McFadden and Williams. Both of them are the #1 guys on their teams, and both will get heavy workloads despite questionable matchups. Anderson has not been playing all that well this year, and he shares a load with Hillman. He would have more value IF Hillman gets injured, but would you want to play the IF game? As for Blount, Washington does have a good front to stop the run, and the Pats offense is till the Tom Brady Show. I expect him to throw-throw-throw the ball today.

    Langford or C.West

It is believed that Forte will only be out for a couple of weeks, and we have had a chance to see what C. West will do with Jamaal out. While his first week performance was rough, he has played well the last two weeks. We do not know how good Langford will be as a starter, and I do not think he will put up the same numbers as Forte. If you are not desperate for Langford to play this week I would highly consider it.

  • I am debating on trading for Cam Newton. I already have Matt Ryan, but he has been up and down this year. I also have Greg Olsen at TE so I was hoping of using the QB-TE combo for added bonus. The person I would be trading with needs a RB, and my current RB roster consists of Ivory, McFadden, McCoy, Dion Lewis, and Ch. West. I was wondering if the trade would be worth it? I was thinking possibly a trade of Ivory for Newton straight up, but they did send me an offer of Newton FOR Ivory and McFadden (which I was thinking of countering with: Newton, Forsett FOR Ivory, McFadden). Any input would be helpful. Thanks
