Fly ball distance is 255, which is really low. BABIP is 70pts above norm. Realistic expectation .275/7 rest of season. On a good note, the BBs are back, which should keep him on top of a pretty good lineup and scoring Rs, but his days of being a top 5 or even top 7 2b are just about done apparently.

If holds are counted, then Betances should have some value for a lower end starter, not sure that would improve your team though? Maybe you could trade him for a flyer on a cargo hoping he comes back? Arrieta should have pretty good value, you should be able to get a good starter for him like I don't know...reyes? Maybe Dozier but that'd be a little bit of a steal, but i'd want someone on the 50-75 range for him.

who knows. Here are some, in no particular order:
Matz if one of the Mets pitcher's gets injured
Preston Tucker (already up)
Refsnyder - yanks not happy with 2b?
E. Rodriquez - Bos not happy with rotation?
D. Santana - HOU going for it, Tucker flops?
P. Obrien - ARI not concerned about promotion after super 2? or just wait?
R. Quinn - PHI trades Revere...Quinn gets a shot?
M. Boyd - TOR SP - why not, he's doing great, times are desperate for Jays
A Nola - PHI starts clock?
Glasnow, SP - PIT starter gets injured?
O. Arcia - SS - Milwaukee can't keep him down?
D. Robertson - SS - Injuries strike, Rays in middle of playoff race...unlikely recall
R. Shaffer - 1b/3b - see above, longo or loney out
B. Buxton - OF - long shot, but Hicks not answer?
There you go, good luck!

No, Jones is getting old(er). If I moved Kluber i'd be looking for say a corey Dickerson or someone younger. Plus that top 3 pick could be Moncada, or possibly a Japanese import or the best of the rest of Minors.

Anderson, but let's be honest he'll get injured at some point, Phelps has never pitched an entire year and Bradley is a rookie in a HR park, so it's Anderson until he gets hurt or something better comes along

I don't own him, but I delved a little deeper. K rate is most concerning, still about 30% since he got back. That does tend to stabilize pretty quickly, so I think a reasonable expectation might be .250/7/15 rest of season, he might get dropped in order if he hasn't been already. I think in 12 and 14 team one year leagues you might find better options on the wire, maybe he's hurt worse than we think

Drop Paredes, pick up Franco. I would limit Franco to LHP to start if possible, that will maximize his power as he's going to K a lot and not provide a good average this year.

Cespedes is about where he'll end up, rk 130 and rk 31 for OF. Carrasco is very interesting, his FIP is 2.75 and he's striking out over 10 per 9, if you need the pitching he'd be a good guy to target. in fact, I may try to float some offers for him right now.

To add something other than rookies rarely play well, he is ranked 145 right now and on pace for a 20/20 season. He's only striking out 13% of the time and walking 8% of the time. His BABIP is .227, I think it could easily be .330 in his prime, and .300 or .310 now, so if he hits .280/15/15 rest of season it wouldn't surprise me, which would have him ending his season around 4-8 rk in 2b probably which is a very nice season. He also hits in Fenway which always boosts avg. due to wall and limited foul ground which is another bonus. I would buy if anyone selling.

Team A, by a lot. Castillo and Inciarte are irrelevant, this boils down to Heyward and Span for Brantley and I'd want for Brantley than and up and down Heyward and hot hitting Span.

I don't know, I don't own Strasburg anywhere but he sure has struggled. If I could and it was a one year league I'd probably want someone else rather than Bradley back, maybe another NL pitcher like Shields or Gio?

go tulo for hamels, you can always drop someone for another SP later should be decent ones on the wire all the time in a 10 team league
- Slappytheclown Slappytheclown May 19, 2015 7:19 PM Flag
how many keepers and league type would help. if it's a 12 team league with 5 keepers, I'd drop Rodon. If it's 10 keepers and a 16 team league, I'm more inclined to drop Sanchez or someone else.

never trade bats for pitching, let alone a closer. Miller's value would fall somewhere in the 70-100 range
