Batters need either 5 Games Started or 10 Games Played at a position to gain eligibility. From Yahoo.
He started 6 games at 2b, so he should be eligible there next year, barring an update by yahoo.

Some good names. Medica was 25 playing in AA, so I wouldn't put too much stock in him being better than Alonso. Y. Gomes had a really high babip, he's a .250 hitter with some pop, he will be on and off the waiver wire all of 2014. Blackmon has little power and speed, and that god awful BB% and K% means stay away. Blackmon doesn't walk enough or he could be D'Aza. As he is, if you need OF help and the rockies are playing a long homestand he may be worth picking up, but he doesn't even have 15/15 upside and has some real BA risk. The rest I am on board with, except gutierrez.

The first list was all players who finished outside the top 200 in rankings for yahoo during the year, so while they may not be totally unknown, they might likely come at a discount next year. Just a comment, take it for what it is.
Kemp, Braun and/or injury's don't count, nor players included expected to have hype. All finished outside top 200.
G. Parra, S. Perez, A. Simmons, C. Crawford, M. Adams, J. Rollins, D. Viciedo, L. Cain, W. Ramos, B. Miller, O. Arcia, A. Rendon, C. Yelich. Top 100 last 30 days: D. Span, Gyorko, Calhoun, J. Hamilton

I'm not an expert in auction leagues, but I think your definates are: Freeman, Franklin, CJ Wilson, Wacha, Cueto, Crawford. That's a lot for Cargo, how much would he go for in a re-draft? how much does trout, cabrera, etc go for in your league? Ramirez and Phillips seem reasonable, though I'm hardly excited. I wouldn't keep Lake. If you can wait to decide I think you wait until spring and see about uehara (is he closer?), Paxton/duffy or you just save the $6 and draft.

First, league size and setup has an effect on this. Filling out the IF is less important in a 12 team mixed league than a 16 or 20 team league or NL/AL only league.
You should definately modify yahoo's rankings based on your own assumptions or get go to rotoworld or another site to get stats for the year then adjust.
Offense is generally more consistent than P, so most players will focus on this during drafts and rightly so. However, if you see a very good P value because of this don't be afraid to jump on it. Also, I try to scratch injury risks. For example, adam eaton was highly touted last year, but he was off all my draft lists because you just don't know what you are getting. Same with Matt Kemp, Derek Jeter, etc. If you use auto-drafting I highly recommend removing these players from your list. A good example for next year might be matt harvey. Maybe he pitches and maybe he pitches well, but maybe he undergoes TJ surgery and you just lost a high pick. I don't want to take injury risk the first 12-14 rds of a draft.

well, with #$%$ out there goes last place. I'll play, would prefer roto like dennis. no more than 14 cats though. re-draft is best.
