I'm sure it's not a tear, he just had an MRI last monday and nothing. However, with that said a sprain can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks to heal depending on the severity and it just happened March 9th. It's been three weeks, so probably another 3 weeks before he's better and 4-5 before he's playing would be my guess.

Don't listen to #$%$, he plays in public leagues with no competition where players like pence get dropped and then 8-10 managers disappear by May. This happens to everyone who plays in competitive leagues - I've had teams in last place in May in a 20 team league and still win, both roto and h2h. it's a long season.

His contact percentage has dropped pretty significantly over the last 3 years. He's not young anymore. He could turn it around, but I don't see anything about .230/28/80, but if you play in an OBP league the OBP is much better.

Cargo at this point looks like a better coco crisp or JD Drew...we keep hoping they'd play a full season, and it never happens. 120 health games from Cargo would be optimistic. Vmart will not repeat last year, but he will hit .300+ and drive in a lot of runs. Not sure about his power as his fly ball distance was a career high which supported a career high HR/FB, but with a knee injury and a year older...I'm betting the under on 20HR for him, just a guess based on age and the knee injury.

sheesh, don't panic yet. First, De Aza is 31, unlikely to have his first 20/20 year now. He's off to a hot start, fueled by facing a lot of RHP. He's worthless against LHP and is 0-5 this year against them, so he requires a lot of management and he will end up hitting .250 with some SB and HR's but maybe 25-30 combined. Ozuna offers better HR power and RBI potential and plays everyday.

lol it's like 8 games, the guy does have a HR already and 5 R and 4RBI, sheesh lets give it at least 30 to 40 games k? My pick he finishes ranked 25 or so.

Last year, Chris Colabello had 27rbi in april, Blackmon was hitting .389, Agon hit 8HRs last april (and 15 the rest of the year). One month doesn't make a fantasy season, let alone one week. I like Votto and Duda (canha is a short term fluke). I just wouldn't rank them ahead of Rizzo given injury concerns with votto and duda's stats against lefties. Ironically, I own Votto in one league and duda in one or two but no Rizzo.

on the upside a 6/0 k/9 is not attractive for standard leagues, nor is a 3.8ERA. Could he improve? yes, but he needs another pitch AND he needs to improve his changeup, and he needs experience. Those are a lot of ands, but he could possibly put it together sometime just probably not this year.

catchers take a long time to develop, and dodger stadium is still pitcher friendly as is petco and At&t. I'm not too high on him, but it wouldn't shock me if he hit better as he ages a la ruiz and Molina, it just may be a slow ascent.

You could be right, but when his Contact percentage goes from 71% to 69% to 66.4% last year and his swing percentage inside and outside the zone has dropped 7 to 8% I don't know. Even if you forecast a .300 BABIP if that K% stays high or goes higher it's going to be real tough for him to continue to be productive. You could be right though.

lol. If your going back to campanella then how about bench, fisk, ted simmons, posey, Posada, Molina (who improved quite a bit) even Ruiz improved over time. anyway, i'd go zunino but I'm not sur ehow much it will improve but at least he'll provide power.
